I tried hundreds of times to synthesize 10-60 nm Ag particles in water using
all kinds of methods. None of them produced monodispersed Ag particles. I
discussed it with one of my friends in Japan who is an expert in this field.
We came to a conclusion that, currently, nobody can make monodispersed Ag
in water.
According to my experience, I would suggest you use seeded growth method in
organic solution.
