Just follow newer1's post and use the 800x480 directory from this
data.zip http://rapidshare.com/files/166081125/data.zip
Don't use the entire data.zip above. Extract it, copy the 800_480
directory over into the original data.zip in newer1's post. Also
replace the resolution line in sys.txt to 800_480.
And set the following options in sys.txt makes the backlight stays on
for ipaq310.
