A Closer Look at Your Body’s Stress Response
The “fight-or-flight” response involves a chain of biological
changes that prepare us for emergency action. When your brain senses danger,
your sympathetic nervous system responds
by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including
adrenaline, norepinephrine, and cortisol. These stress hormones
race through the bloodstream, readying you to either
flee the scene or battle it out.
Your heart rate and blood flow to your large muscles increase
so you can

o******y 发帖数: 743 | 10 Get a video recorder and playback what happened in the class when you go
back home. Sit together with your son, watch, and discuss (don't blame him
too much). If it was his first class, he might not get what he should do in
the class.
This kind of thing happened in the first couple of swimming classes (without
parents' participation, while we were in the water with him before) for my
son.
Lower your expectation, and give more time to him. I think he will catch up
soon. |
