next week, plan to let him stay in China for 5 or 6 months. Just got the
visa today, it was approved for only 2 months. Does anyone have any
experience with this? Do we have to leave then re enter to get it renewed?
Any way to renew it in China?

几次入境？
我们第一次申请了３个月，后来在国内去派出所延了一次。
我们这次打算已开始就申请６个月，不过据说不好拿到。

发帖数: 37 | 3 Thanks for your reply. I forgot how many months we applied...They just gave
us 6 month multiple entry visa. They told us we need to cross the border
then re enter to get it renewed. Good to hear that we could extend it at
police station.
