My kids address my colleague/boss by first name, same as I do.
However, they address their classmates' parents by "Mr/Mrs Lastname". For
the parents that can speak Chinese, they address them by "叔叔，阿姨". We
get close to some of the parents thru the kids, so we (adults) address those
parents by first name only. But my kids still call them "Mr./Mrs" or "叔叔
，阿姨". This is also the way we're addressed by their classmates. |

public school. But the way we're addressed are the same all these years.
My older child was in HS varsity team. Sometimes they have graduates who
already in college came back to help the current students. Those "adult
kids" also address me "Mrs. XXX".
I think it's a convenience for them. They don't have to ask my name, as
long as they know my child's last name, they always know, they know how to
address me and not put themselves in an awkward position. |

addressed me using Mrs. "Husband's last name" as well. When I bring my kids
to see doctors, I'm also known as "Mrs. Husband's last name".
I don't have a problem with that. |

I started only put down my first name at the end starting my first email.

addressed by first name by my kid's friend. We were doing carpooling with
my younger kid's class, and the kid's mom called me for arrangement and
other stuff. At the end she asked how her daughter should address me. So I
told her she can just call me by first name since I don't want to tell her
I should be addressed by Mrs. XXX. The girl did what I told her mom to tell
her and she is the only one to address me by my first name. But later on,
my older kid heard that addressing and asked, " How come she call you by
first name?"

Ms. Appril. 你教他叫 Mr./Mrs. XXX, 他就叫M.r./Mrs. XXX
