ge xiang jiao". When further asked, she said one of the assistant teacher
told her "you are a banana" and she thought it's funny and translated it
into Chinese to me at home.
I am not that comfortable first hearing such sentence. Am I too sensitive?
is it normal for the teacher to say such sentence to my daughter? |

的。很少听到这种用法啊。那个老师管我们娃叫cherry-berry。

你可以直接问老师，并说明一下我们的文化里，香蕉不是很好的意思
不过话说回来，黄皮肤，白人思想，其实用香蕉形容还是很贴切的，也未必有歧义

发帖数: 8870 | 12 哈哈，我家娃也是BANANA。在DAYCARE都不知道被叫了多长时间了。每次在电脑上或者
纸上写自己的名字都是先first name Hannah+last name+nick name banana再外加一大
堆她在DAYCARE的猪朋狗友。。。
LZ娃儿的名字应该有类似的XXXXNA。DAYCARE的老师不会是恶意的。
