socialization, 和stress的文章，是汇总美国和挪威的学者们的多个对于preschool儿
童的研究结果。其中多数研究是基于大型的longtitudinal study. 希望对选择
preschool的父母们有点启发和帮助。

Preschoolers need to learn self-control, empathy, compassion, patience,
social etiquette, and an upbeat, constructive attitude for dealing with
social problems.
These lessons can’t be learned through peer contact alone.
... caring adults...
我觉得这个不仅是Preschoolers，适用于各个年龄段的孩子，自小学至初中，高中。学
习social skill 真是需要caring adults。最自然的情况，首先是父母，然后是祖父母
，然后是uncles and aunts, 然后是父母的朋友，邻居，学校的老师，球队的教练，等
等。
对于我们这样的第一代移民，教养孩子social skills 一个很大的挑战和难处是身边缺
少community of caring adults. |
