本人知道USCIS有如下说明：
“you may apply for a Reentry Permit. You must be physically present in the
United States when you file the Reentry Permit application and complete the
biometrics services requirement.”
按目前的信息，从递交材料到按指纹，需要40~50天。但是，她只能在美国呆约一个月
。因此，我想这样操作：
老婆来美前10天邮寄申请；
约1周左右，收到receipt;
约40天左右收到打指纹通知；
walk-in打指纹，然后隔天飞机回国。
请有经验的大哥大姐提供信息，评估上述操作可行性。万分感激！ |

有说法是 提交申请后可以离开美国 打指纹的时候再回来就行 不需要一直呆在美国

就可以回国了

the same time you can walk in local USCIS office to request biometric
service even don't have appointment letter of finger print. This is what I
experienced last year. I only stayed 2 weeks for applying 1-131. |

发帖数: 1250 | 10 Many people mailed in the application when they already left the US, and
came back for biometrics once the appointment notice was received. Not
compliant with the rule, but it worked for many people. I personally saw a
real case recently. This helps in case you cannot wait in the US. |
