Job description:
Posting Title: Test Lead/Engineer - iPod/iPhone
Position Description:
In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with iPod SQA,
Software/Hardware Development and
Program Management teams to coordinate test efforts for iPod/iPhone products
at different manufacturing
sites overseas. S/he documents test plans/procedures and trains the DRIs at
manufacturing sites. The
candidate works remotely with the DRIs to instruct them in running specific
tests on iPod/iPhone products.
S/he also reviews and analyses the test results, reports defects and
publishes reports to the division. Strong
communication skills in English and Mandarin are required for this role.
Required:
5+ years QA experience, 2+ years QA lead experience with some management
experience
Experience with different manufacturers or 3rd party test houses is a major
advantage
Experience with hardware and software development processes
Experience with testing embedded consumer electronics
Ability to work cross functionally
Demonstrated QA skills with at least 2 complete product cycles, from
inception to customer shipment
Experience with Radar or similar defect tracking systems
Experience with test automation and performance measurements tools is
helpful
BS/MS CS/CE/EE or equivalent
Proficiency in Mandarin
Travel mostly to Asia 1-2 weeks quarterly |
