Google有自己的DNS，你是不是没有换掉？
性能是一个问题，另外就是Google会把你有史以来visit过的网站全部永久存档。。。

Unless Facebook brings out a search product making use of social information, it doesn't affect google's search business that much. Google is collecting data to prepare for such a challege, in case there is one. Facebook's main revenue is from display ads. That is Yahoo's turf. Google is growing on display ads, but not relying on it. Google was never the leader in display ads. So far Google is still behind Yahoo in that regard (and that is including Youtube), not that much ahead of Microsoft, why should it worry so much about Facebook.

don't expect it to be ground breaking any more.

google之所以可以不care Facebook是因为广告市场实在太大了。Facebook在display ads里面做大不太会影响google自己的search广告，更大可能抢占的是传统非online广告的份额。Google在display ads这块本来就不是老大, 是靠了Youtube才勉强爬上的老三位置。Display ads和search ads两个加起来也只占整个广告市场很小的一部分。online广告还有非常大的增长空间, 他们还不至于象比如PC行业一样到抢食的程度。而不是说Facebook不行。
技术啊，在这个网站上你做的事情有没有意义啊这些都是虚的，能不能赚钱才是王道。公司分析竞争对手也应该从revenue的影响分析。Facebook为什么有可能做大，大家可以看看QQ是怎么做大的。他们可以走非常类似的道路。先build用户基础，拿到广告钱，然后慢慢的online的东西都可以去涉及，一样可以做到跟百度差不多大的。
