On Thursday she’ll join Obama at a White House event where he will announce
that companies and non-profits have agreed to create 180,000 summer jobs
and internships for youths this summer, Solis said.
Solis told The Daily Caller that the positions are new, and are not routine
summer jobs previously planned by the companies. Only 70,000 of the “work
opportunities” will be paid.
