At 11:38 p.m., Officer Shannon was dispatched to a late report of an armed
robbery. The 39 year old adult male victim told officers that on 1/5/17 at
1:30 p.m., he had just finished eating at a restaurant and walked to a
parking area in the southeast corner to smoke a cigarette, in somewhat
secluded and not immediately visible area to the majority of the shopping
center. As he was standing, an unkown male came up from behind and stuck
something hard into his back. He said an the unknown suspect demanded his
valuables and threated to shoot him if he didn't comply. The victim felt
the object being pointed into his back, but never saw a wearpon. Loss is
the victim’s watch, ring, and money clip. The victim only saw the hand of
the suspect and therefore the only description we have of the suspect is a
black male. The case was forwarded to Investigations for further follow up. |

held a Cupertino resident at gunpoint in a home-invasion robbery Sunday
night, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
The robbery was reported about 10:34 p.m. at a home in the 21000 block of
Regnart Road on the southwestern edge of the city limits. A resident called
911 and said two armed intruders, one with a gun and one with a knife, stole
jewelry and cash from him.
