Lab assistant Position in the Ingredient Manufacturing Industry

Draco Natural Products, Inc. is a manufacturer and developer of botanical
extract ingredients for the nutritional supplement, food and beverage, and
cosmetic industries.
We are looking for a self-motivated person with energy and excellent
organizational and planning skills. This candidate must have the
flexibility to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously in a
fast-paced environment.
Applicants for this position must have excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
High proficiency with computer software is required, especially MS Word, MS
Excel, and experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint
presentations.
This position is located at our San Jose, CA headquarters. Experience in
food and/or nutritional industry is a plus but not required. This position
is immediately available.
Some of the duties will include:
Process all sample requests from both outside and inside sales team.
Create liquid and solid solution order for outside and inside sales.
Document all the liquid order process information.
Generate and match all the labels for outgoing samples and liquid products.
Coordinate domestic trajectory logistics for all sample deliveries.
Create and manage extensive sample, liquid order and raw materials
inventories.
Maintain specialized sample ledgers for monthly-inventory and goods-sold
journals.

• Providing support to R/D team and sales team, including, but not
limited to processed all sample requests timely and accurately, communicate
to teams and customers, maintain the shipping log
• Sampling of products, physical check, and packaging components
as required
• Processing all the liquid orders by SOPs and maintaining all
process log
• Maintained all records, including sample and liquid order
ledgers
• Knowledge of aseptic operation procedures
• Cleaning and maintenance of labs, equipment and supplies
• Manage Supply Inventory, such as lab supply, packaging material,
gloves, specimen cups, printer ink cartridges, etc.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
