Family Floats
The scenic river float gently glides down the 10 miles of river from Lake
Wenatchee State Park. For those of you visiting Leavenworth and the North
Central Washington area, you are sure to enjoy the serene beauty at the
headwaters of the Wenatchee River. Osprey and their nests are frequently
seen, as well as many other wildlife species and birds on this quiet stretch
of river. The water is Class I-II, great for the whole family. Ages 3 and
over will love this trip. Meet us at Lake Wenatchee State Park at 10:00am.
We will stop about halfway through the trip for an nice picnic lunch
alongside the river. We usually have you back to your car at the lake around
3:00. April through October. |
