Planting Marijuana here will hurt the reputation of our community and drag
down the property value as the immediate impact. Please say no to Marijuana
in Redmond Ridge by emailing all nine members (c*****[email protected] with "
Marijuana Legislation" in the subject line) or attending the public hearing
on Monday, December 2nd.

Marijuana related business zoning ordinance in the Redmond Ridge ROA
Business Park ((proposed ordinance 2013-0472)
King County Hearing Date: Monday, December 2nd, 2013
On November 26th, 2013, the Redmond Ridge ROA Board passed the following
Resolution in regards to the Marijuana related business zoning ordinance in
the Redmond Ridge ROA Business Park ((proposed ordinance 2013-0472):
Given the demographics of our neighborhood, the Redmond Ridge ROA does NOT
support the proposed zoning allowing up to 30,000 square feet per parcel of
marijuana growing and processing in the Redmond Ridge ROA Business Park.
A marijuana facility would have a detrimental effect on property values
Redmond Ridge ROA has a high concentration of children
Close proximity to public parks, playgrounds, trails, schools, library,
recreational facilities
Nuisance odors are likely
Potential for increased crime and limited police presence
Negative environmental impact
Unknown impact on an Urban Planned Development
Marijuana growing and processing locations should be zoned in areas that
are further away from neighborhoods and high concentrations of children.
Use this information to express your views about this proposal to the King
County Council by emailing all nine members (c*****[email protected] with "
Marijuana Legislation" in the subject line) or attending the public hearing
on Monday, December 2nd, 2013, at 1:30 pm in the Council Chambers on the
10th floor of the King County Courthouse in Seattle
