over it after the same failure hit 10Y and 30Y bond this month. While
Bernanke pretended all is fine in front of Congress, investors were giving
Fed a collective vote of no confidence.
Direct Bidders once again saved the just completed 5 year bond auction. Not
only was the $13.1 billion direct bid a record by a large margin (the prior
record bid was $8.5 billion), not only was 12.8% take down the second

In short, indirect bid comes mostly from foreign investors while direct
bid probably from Fed.
low indirect + high direct = debt monetization = bond WEIMARization =>
US Dollar collapse => pick your poisons between:
1. high interest rate that kills economy or,
2. mass banana republic inflation that, oops, kills economy as well.
Basically US economy will be killed one way or another.
