Two weeks into deliberation over a package of sweeping financial reforms,
the Senate has approved major items such as too-big-to-fail authority,
Federal Reserve audits and larger capital requirements for banks, but major
battles still loom over the powers of a new consumer financial protection
agency and regulation of over-the counter derivatives.

GS CEO说现在自营交易只占10% revenue.
不知道占多大的profit?

最主要现在GS有贴现窗口，可以0利息拿钱，然后拿到市场上去操盘究好咯。

发帖数: 2230 | 10 看了这个季度的财报和去年的年报，找不到proprietary trading 在总的trading
revenue里面的比重。GS也没有公布具体的数字。Google了一下，有些贴子估计
proprietary trading profits占总trading profits的一半。
GS的trading operations包括FICC (fixed income, currencies, & commodities)和
equities两大类。2009年，FICC trading赚了$23B, equities trading赚了$9.8B.
加起来，total trading profits总共$34B,占去年total net revenue$45B的75%. 假设
proprietary占总trading profits的一半，那就是37.5%的net revenue了。大蜜蜂的40
%的说法看来有一锭精确性.
这样看来如果bill通过不让搞自营交易，GS的盈利会下降40%左右。
从股价看，现在每股盈利$24. Bill通过后，下降到$24*(1 - 40%) = $14.4
