1099-B里面所有的卖出价格，没有成本价。 让我看看是不是正确，去年有上千个trade
...都是IB里面做的，我去年报税的时候只是用了IB给的Gain/Loss sheet附加在
schedule D上面的，现在IRS让我check，如果有不正确的就file1040X...
板上有类似情况的吗？我该怎么办？用tradelog再做一份schedule? |

发帖数: 4495 | 4 IRS只有broker报的sale records，IB给 G/L可能对不上，特别是sales总数，而且如果
有大笔的option交易，也可能对不上。只要tradelog能对上，就行了。

发帖数: 151 | 5 Don't sweat it. Just get your cost basis and make sure the total of sales
proceeds match the total reported by brokerage to IRS. If there is a
difference, just file 1040X. There is no penalty if you do it before their
deadline. You only pay interest if you owe money.
I paid back taxes based on wrong deduction for several years, etc, it's no
big deal. |

发帖数: 151 | 6 by the way, you have over 1000 trades a year. You are going to have a LONG
list in your schedule D. I have never seen a list longer than like 20/30
trades a year. This year I probably had fewer than 10 trades.
Hope you have gainskeeper software to do it for you. Otherwise it's gonna be
a pain in the butt. |

发帖数: 1276 | 7 Thanks man, I always use the schedule D generated by IB to report tax
schedule D1.
But the format is a little bit different so I have to fill in a net in
schedule D (as one trade) and fill the details in D1.
It's really a big pain to calculate the net so I am using tradelog for this
purpose now. If you know a better software, please let me know...
