earn over $4/share despite all the misstep.
Pro:
Low P/E, very established customer base, the business should be relative
stable even without P/C business, Depreciation is almost = CAPEX. They
should generate over 8 billion cash every year.
Con:
Balance sheet is very weak. If you take out the goodwill, the stock holder
equity is almost zero.
They have 12 billion on hand, but over 12 billion long term debt.

That' fair.
I feel the stock is "sell" near term, but "buy" long term.
In the long run, this turn over is important and would be successful,
if the merge is fine.
No buy before the dust settles.

There will be a new company designing and building pc & laptop with a new
name.
As in the late 90's, HP spinned-off test equipment unit which became Agilent.
If you are doing tech work, check your shelf, you may still find old HP
test equipments placed together with new Agilent ones. They were actually
from the same place.
