发帖数: 866 | 6 我们计划Thanksgiving6天，由于时间太紧已经取消从LA开到Monterey的计划了。感觉
每个地方都值得玩好几天。
根据我的研究，时间紧的话sf-santa cruz不必走一号公路；solvang town值得去，估
计半个小时就转完了。
前面有人说的Getty强烈推荐，虽然我还没去，不过很期待^_^
如果你们要去主题公园，网上有些有套票，比如sea world和universal studios一起买
可以省30刀

家圣诞树的庆祝仪式等。

1) Southern CA
in winter time, visit las vegas, death valley NP, LA, Channel Islands NP,
San Dieago, Joshua Tree NP
I have been to Grand Canyon during Christmas, it's cold. If you only plan to
visit GC for 1 day, then drive along the south rim for 1 day is good enough
(BTW, north rim is close in winter). If you'd like to hike along the trail
down to the valley, then avoid winter. Try next time either spring or fall.

the solvang town is the dutch thingy one, right? it's quite interesting. i
ll say stop there for 1-2 hours to have a rest, have a coffee or tea and
then continue driving.
i dont' recommend the castle, waste of money. i ll say skip it. napa is only
winery, be careful at I-80 and Hwy12 junction. CHP is waiting to write
speeding tickets. from that to the i-80 and i-680 is the part is their '
money making' section. hahaha.
