发帖数: 7272 | 1 呆了11天，5天MAUI，6天HOLONUNU，买了蓝宝书，也看了点精华区，行程是WEST MAUI
两晚，SOUTH MAUI两晚，HANA一晚，WAKIKI三晚，HONOLULU DOWNTOWN 三晚，在这里谈
一点个人的体会。
我记得前些天有个网友说过出去玩要了解自己是什么样的一个游客。很多人给的意见是
经验之谈，但也许不适合自己。
比如说，很多人都说WAKIKI BEACH 严重商业化，可是比较WEST MAUI的QUIET BEACH （
也是相对而言，因为那里也是个HOTEL集中区），我们全家人都更喜欢繁华热闹，购物
方便的WAKIKI BEACH。如果重新安排，作为一个第一次去HAWAII的人，我们会先去
WAKIKI。因为商业化，有很多人教冲浪，划板，55刀上了一个PRIVATE LESSON，人生第
一次冲浪，过足了瘾。
HANA之路被高估。所谓的WATERFALL，除非你真没见过啥，简直是不值一提。也有可能
我在OREGON见多了。我们冒着耽误飞机的风险去看那个什么SEVEN SACRED （HANA在往
前开），socalled one of the most, if not THE most senary place in Hawaii,失
望。HANA沿路的风景还是不错的，但是如果已经去过西面的BLOWHOLE和OLIVE BAY，惊
喜感不强。但是HANA这个小TOWN我们很喜欢，加之我们订的旅馆比预料的好太多，
我们很后悔没有在那里多呆一个晚上。
ONE-DAY BOAT TRIP去一个MAUI的小岛，三个人300，开船来回，包吃，包SNORKLE。开
始我还觉得不是太划算，后来去HONUMA BAY SNORKLE才知道，MAUI的这个SNORKLE TRIP值，有专人教，有人一路盯着，可以游20 FEET 的海域，实际上游得更远，海里可
看的也更多。
最大的教训是，充分了解到自己是一个惰性大的人，走马观花太累，喜欢呆在一个地慢
慢玩，喜欢不同的活动，如果不是安排的这么急，我还会试一试JETSKIING，还有那个
在滑板上划浆的（叫什么来着），以及滑翔。下次吧。
最后觉得除非在一个CONDO或小HOUSE里住五天以上，也愿意自己开伙做饭，性价比我认为还是紧靠BEACH的HOTEL要高。我们在SOUTH MAUI住的一个小HOUSE，钱没有省多少，里面的设施质量差太多。 | h******1

发帖数: 7272 | 3 独特性是日本人贼多，VOCANIC beach，当地经济落后除了旅游业独树一帜（当然还有
军队的资助），曾被强迫文化归顺（历史上有一段时间不让说或教HAWAIIN），纯种的
HAWAIIN越来越少，大多都是MIXED，PUBLIC EDUCATION级差，私立学校质量高。。。和
我想象的HAWAII有差距

like u spent most of your time in the tourism box and missed a lot of hidden
waterfalls and beaches. That's why you didn't get to enjoy the nature of
Hawai'i. Kauai > Maui >> Oahu. you prob would like Miami/Key West a lot. | i*****a

either. But talking about waterfalls, the ones along the road to Hana were
surely not impressive to me, who's stayed in oregon for a few years.
In both islands, Maui and Oahu, I did the round island driving trip (3/4 in
Maui) and have seen quite a few beaches along the shore. i'd like to say my
eyes might be spoiled during the trips, the views didnt surprise me enough.
yes, Miami/key west will be my next beach stop.

what u said: speaking from someone living in Oregon for a few years,
waterfalls there are less impressive to you.
did you get to visit Venus Pool at the 48 mile marker?

you get to visit Na Pali Coast and west moutain area-Waimea Canyon... in
Kaua'i?
the sightseeing of falls and beaches are great, but if you get to jump in
the water, then you'll have absolutely different feelings. This is not
something you can enjoy in other places.
I could be wrong if you have much more traveling experience than me. I woulk
like to see what other places nature alike you've been to: at least the
waterfalls呀beaches呀 that are NOT "看着觉得很一般".
