Basically, YS is just so so - guess when it's founded, people got amazed
easily, as there's neither TV nor Internet. Meanwhile, Grand Teton does have
some nice views.
For lodging, we didn't get on-site ones as booked late, still those "off-
site by-gate" ones turned out to be fine. The last night, we stayed at
Parkway Inn & Spa in Jackson, it's nicely decorated.
Another thing need to mention, many roads in the northern part have little
shoulder, so try not to drive a big car - we got a free upgrade from full-
size to Suburban, and had somewhat stressful and even a few dangerous
moments - guess small SUV's are used up by experienced tourists quick.

我经常看到人大呼小叫黄石多美，但每次看贴出照片来都像鸡肋一样（除了那些一看就
高度PS过的天异怪的蓝的那种“仙境”外)，于是就完全没有兴趣去。
看阿拉斯加的图片也一个感觉。冰山不是到处都有嘛，但很多人就特向往阿拉斯加，我

这样也轻松，跑到哪里是哪里，不用揣着个相机还麻烦

发帖数: 2318 | 5 Heard a hiker got killed by a mother bear in YS, which reminded that
whenever wild animals showed up along the roads, the rangers usually showed
up pretty quick - once went very close by an elk to take photo, and got a $
135 ticket:
