玩一下。google了一下，主要是在I80上走。走过的朋友，请介绍一下沿途比较好玩的
风景阿，谢谢！
还有，我刚会开车，驾车技术一般，不知道I-80 路况如何？应该不会有太多车吧？ 谢

我当时走I90，一路过badlands，mount rushmore，拐出I90，从东门进黄石，那段路非
常漂亮，黄石里转一圈，出南门，过grand teton，下来到I80，进加州前逛一下lake
tahoe。时间紧就不用去tahoe了，反正以后有的是机会。

发帖数: 1130 | 4 I am at detroit. 2 years ago Christmas season, my friend move from chicago
to San Jose. I drove his car with him (sedan only, no furniture) from
chicago to san jose. 7 days, 3000 miles one way.
开始计划的时候想过两条路线：
1） 从CHICAGO 沿着 55 到 ST LOUIS, SPRINGFIELD, 沿着 44 到 OKLAHOMA CITY, 40
到 AMARILLO, SANTA FE， ALBUQUERQUE, GALLUP, FLAGSTAFF. 再沿着17 到 SEDONA,
PHOENIX, 然后沿着 10/15 到 SAN DIEGO, 最后沿着 5/CA-1到LA, SANTA MONICA,
BIG SURN, Monterey bay， SAN JOSE。
2） 从CHICAGO沿着80 --> 76 到DENVER，沿着70到Grand Junction, Moab， 再沿着
191/163/160 到 FlagStaff， 然后沿着40 到Los Angeles, Santa Monica。 途径有无
数国家公园可以一网打尽：Rocky Mountain, Arches, Canyonlands, Monument Valley
, Grand Canyon... or take 15 to las vegas then LA...
we choose option 1 because winter snow storm in denver.
In August, denver weather is pleasant. so weather wise, both route is good.
however if you only have 5 days, then go with option 1, you will still drive
through wonderful places: santa fe, PARLM SPRINGS, PETRIFIED FOREST
NATIONAL PARK, CADILLAC RANCH, Bandelier National Monument, JOSHUA TREE
NATIONAL PARK, Tucumcari, SEDONA, Big Sur.
btw, even 5 days is short if you are only person to drive, and you just
learn how to drive. the highway is easy to drive, maybe you will feel a
little bit high altitude sick for couple of hours, when drive through rocky
mountain ranger (either denver or Albuquerque).
the scene at east part of the driving (either chicago to denver, or chicago
to Albuquerque) are dry and not much to see. But west part offer variety of
choice. So when you plan your trip, drive more in east part, and stop more
at west part.
If you must finish the trip within 5 days, and also want to stop some place
for fun, then you need at least two experience drivers, drive 2 days/nights
all the way to Albuquerque, stop at Springfield or Tulsa for the 1st night.
and either Albuquerque or Santa Fe for 2nd night. Then enjoy/relax in the
west part of the trip.
There will be plenty of motel along the road, you don't have to book motel/
hotel in advance. your choice. there are plenty of motel 6 on the road, just
walk in, they have plenty of room.

however, I have ever been to albuquerque, santa fe, grand canyan, and south
california before, so I would like to see some new view along the north part
