住：在watkins glen附近最好 离什么都近 sceneca lake附近有很多bb 比较贵 但挺适
合两个人浪漫的我们住IDLWILDE INN是19世纪的豪宅改建的旅馆 在一个小山丘上 非常
漂亮 内部保留了建筑家具的原样 墙上还有原来的照片 很怀旧 地上都有很漂亮的波斯
地毯 有住进豪宅的感觉 我们住的是三楼最便宜的12房 但两个窗户都能看到湖115刀加
税算可以了 而且他们家免费现做的早饭也很好吃
食：吃的不错也便宜 具体见下文
行：一定要带点东西在路上吃 碰上塞车 要开6个小时 虽然实际车程是4.5小时

july 4 watkins glen state park: we did the gorge trail and back on indian
trial. should go there early morning to avoid the crowd.
we went to scenca lake wine trial in the afternoon. lakewood winery has nice
niagara wines. Glenora is a nice winery as well. Best one is called Cheatu
laffayate reneau as you can sit on the porch for wine tasting - amazing lake
view. we also tried hazelitt 1852- nice and rustic winery.
we had dinner at village harbor grill. lakeside with live music. most items
only 10 bucks but long wait. The pizzera called jerlando is very nice i.e.
the wings and garlic knots.
there is a rocky platform inside the lake and we watched the fireworks there.
july 5th we did kayak for an hour and the kayak rental is just besides
village harbor grill.
we then went to robert treman state park. did a 5 mile hike - rim trial +
gorge trial from upper falls to lower falls and back by rim trial. long walk
but nice views. you can walk to the falls - a lot of fun.
we then went to buttermilk 5 mins away and the ticket can be used for all
nys parks on the same day. 2 miles for the roop hiked to pinnacle rock and
then back via rim trial.
we went to ithca falls and fall creek drive afterwards. we saw cornell
campus as well. they are all very close.
we went back to watkins to have bbq at nickles pit bbq. the bbq is nice and
they have own beer draft brewed next door. you can see the brewing in the
back.
july 6 we did schooner true love sailing from10 to 11:30. best experience
and price is only 29 per person. gorgeous view and peaceful lake. | b********d

发帖数: 5998 | 3 nice write up. we did almost the same trip last summer. The Watkins Glenn
race track nearby is also fun, one of the most storied track in USA.
