发帖数: 60932 | 1 This week in the Dick's circular in the Sunday paper they were advertising
the Remington 700 Varmint for 449.99 after 50.00 rebate. It includes a
cheap scope. There is also a 20.00 gift card offer by mail on Remington
products from Dick's and if you use your Score Card you should get another
10.00 gift card by mail without having to submit anything. Sale runs
through this Saturday.
I went to look at it and the box says 700 ADL Varmint. This gun is
basically an SPS varmint except it has a different stock paint scheme(mossy
oak) and no drop out floor plate. Just the action alone to start a custom
build should be worth 450, so it's like getting a barrel and stock for free.
With a different stock and about 60.00 worth of parts for the floorplate,
you can build this into an SPS varmint for much less than an actual SPS
varmint. Just sayin'.
At my local store they had .223, 22-250, .243, and .308 in stock. It also
has the X-mark pro trigger which feels very nice for a factory trigger.
