标 题: 木然回首，XOM做了个超大型对称三角。

正在扫oil & gas sector的图，几个月都没看XOM的，一看吓一跳。
这大三角，不比黄金当时的小。 |

发帖数: 1038 | 2 太对称了，记得哪里讲过说对称三角形如果过了2/3边还不不breakout，那就不算可以
猛烈breakout的那一种，不知道对不对，GLD Weekly 已经走完了三角形了。

GLD weekly上，三角也已经走完了，进入头肩底，到了$100的颈线了。

哦，是Murphy书的133 页；
Time Limit for Triangle Resolution
There is a time limit for the resolution of the pattern and that is the
point where the two lines meet -- at the apex. As a general rule, prices
should break out in the direction of the prior trend somewhere between two-
thirds to three quarters of the horizontal width of the triangle...... If
the prices remain within the triangle beyond the three-quarters point, the
triangle begins to lose its potency, and

发帖数: 3386 | 7 挺有道理的。我看到很多股有这个现象。三角形都出溜出去了，还是死挺挺的。
不过黄金这次breakout, 还是挺猛烈的。

作为标普比重最大的股票，如果发力，会很猛。 |
