就撒一些grub treatment，应该会有帮助的

The way to distinguish between grub or larvae damage and fertilizer or dog
damage is to examine the edge of the dead patch. If the grass is growing
the same on the edge as it is on the rest of the lawn, grubs are the problem
. If the grass around the brown spot is growing luxuriantly and taller,
greener, and more lush than the test of the lawn -- the dead spot is likely
caused by fertilizer or dogs. With grub damage, you'll be able to pull the
dad grass from the ground. With fertilizer or animal burn, the grass will
still be attached to the roots and will not easily pull from the ground. |

刚才看了一下， 应该不是grub， 因为草不是很容易拔出来。 应该也排除狗尿， 一
方面没有那么多狗，另一方面，都是在草地的正中间 ，不会是狗， 另外我还没有用过
肥料， 所以也排除。
最有可能是楼上的兄弟链接里的Fusarium Blight 或者是Brown Patch 我还分不太清楚。
不知道这种fungus 能否好治， 有药吗？？ |

Brown Patch
Controls: Control with a fungicide that contains pentachloronitrobenzene (
PCBN) or chlorothalonil. Repeat as directed. The occurrence of many lawn
fungi can be reduced by watering in the early morning instead of the evening.

While any lawn can suffer from brown patch, lawns with St. Augustinegrass
are particularly vulnerable.
Brown patch thrives in humidity and damp conditions. You want to water your
lawn only once a week to control the amount of moisture on the lawn.
Watering once a week keeps your lawn healthy, while allowing it to dry out.
Brown patch hates all things dry.
Brown patch responds to anti-fungal treatments. Apply a lawn fungus control
product every other week. You'll need to make at least 3 applications.
Fusarium Blight
Controls: Complete control is difficult. To reduce the chance of
reoccurrence, remove dead areas, reseed with resistant types of grass., and
keep your lawn healthy. In California, there is not an available control for
over the counter sales.

excessive thatch, too much fertilizer, and water stress. If these conditions

deeply but infrequently - about an inch a week.
Fusarium blight is most injurious to Kentucky bluegrass, but also affects

Kentucky bluegrass lawn, you can overseed with a mixture containing
perennial ryegrass. If your lawn is seriously damaged by fusarium blight,
consider reseeding with resistant grasses adapted to your climate. |
