minimize objective function f(x) subject to x>0, here x is a vector
basically we choose steepest descent method to work on it.
在某个iteration的过程，当x的某些量取到negative时，我们就强制set x[i]=0.0001,
其他取正的量不变，只到这个line search过程中发现极小量，然后开始下一个
iteration。
（为什么强制设置取负的元为一个正值，是因为我们的forward model必须在x是正值的
情况下才能工作，我这里设了一个小的正量0.0001,理论上可以设任何正量）
strategy很简单，程序也不复杂。可问题是，我发现search过程中，当x的很多量取负
时，也就是x的很多元被强制设成0.0001时，会导致下一个gradient search方向f(x)的
值增大，这个理论上是不可能的啊，哪位做过这方面工作的朋友帮我看看到底什么地方
出了问题？

发帖数: 5138 | 26 我对goldmember在其“陈大师，民科与否，在此一战”中的数据进行了三分回归分析，结果如下两图所示。第一种分割使用的fullwise model是简单的线性回归；第二种分割使用的则是三次多项式模型。可见，全域模型越准确，对两个临界点的估计也越接近样本真实。但我们需要记住的是，不可能得到一个与样本所示的临界点（大约是40，70）相等的临界点，因为样本仅仅是总体的一个随机子集。把一个样本的实际临界点估计得精准无误可能就意味着overfitting。当然，如果我们能够找到一个比三次多项式更好的全域模型来描述该样本数据，估计的结果就会更精准，但绝对不会恰好等于“样本基础上的”最佳临界点。
在本分析的方法学中，两个临界点具有实际的决策意义。

我和厂里的师傅们在为了使数控机床提高一级精度而不分白夜进行调试、翻译德文
资料时，当我费尽千辛万苦又没有假期和加班费、满身污垢，满手是伤，操作失败
了无数次但最终第一次加工制造出精度达到预计的0.0001毫米要求的样品时，我兴
奋了一阵子，但紧接着又有了失落感，因为那台加工中心的数控机床是德国造的，
数控计算机部分是德国造的，加工软件还是是德国造的，就连一把车刀，一个钻头
，都是日本造的！除了厂房，没有一样工具是中国制造！就连厂房也是借鉴了外国
的经验，同胞们，你们不是搞这个的也许没有深刻的体会，我要加工一件精度为0.
0001毫米的零件，所需的工具，就是上述外国制造的东西，这些工具的精度要比产
品的精度高好几倍甚至几十倍几百倍！一把用于高精度加工的小小的钻头，咱们就
是做不到啊！买日本的要好几千啊！没法子啊。

的。标准计算方法是最高分900分，最低分100分，中间分数是500分，但是大部分都集
中于中间阶段。貌似600分是TOP15%左右，700是top2%左右。然后以500分两侧分布。如
果是这样的话，也即400-600分集中了TOP15%-85%的人，也就是60%的人都在400-600分
。越到两侧人越少。这就是样本多的话才能各个分数段都有人，850分以上大约得TOP0.
0001%了，如果考生人数不够多，也即总数×0.0001小于1的话，那么那个分数段就没有
人了。

就沾沾自喜，德国一整套PRO/E正版软件要将近8000万元！拿给你你连安装都不会装，
别说使用了，什么是差距？
中国的制造业不发达。我是学机械制造的，谈一些我的体会。
当我和厂里的师傅们在为了使数控机床提高一级精度而不分白夜进行调试、翻译德文资
料时，当我费尽千辛万苦又没有假期和加班费、满身污垢，满手是伤，操作失败了无数
次但最终第一次加工制造出精度达到预计的0.0001毫米要求的样品时，我兴奋了一阵子
，但紧接着又有了失落感，因为那台加工中心的数控机床是德国造的，数控电脑部分是
德国造的，加工软件还是德国造的，就连一把车刀，一个钻头，都是日本造的！
除了厂房，没有一样工具是中国制造！就连厂房也是借鉴了外国的经验，同胞们，你们
不是搞这个的也许没有深刻的体会，我要加工一件精度为0.0001毫米的零件，所需的工
具，就是上述外国制造的东西，这些工具的精度要比产品的精度高好几倍甚至几十倍几
百倍！一把用于高精度加工的小小的钻头，咱们就是做不到啊！买日本的要好几千啊！
没法子啊。

迷途大大鹿：会发现有问题是因为常外对面的地由于要造某商业广场，挖掘后产生大量
异味，政府才知道之前的化工厂将废料深埋地下几十米。结果发现的时候学校已经建好
了。然后估计一边治理一边拼命押下新闻，地方电视台没有一个敢报道，家长抗议也出
动特警，最惨的是学生和老师，那些做决定的政府官员也没人处置，悲哀

发帖数: 1 | 47 确定冬至／夏至的方法，是通过测量竖杆的影子的长度，
影子最短的那天，是夏至；最长的那天，是冬至。
测量的精度相当于，十米的影子，精确到一毫米。
实际上他们只需要知道长度的在极值附近的变化量，
所以在几天之内，达到一毫米的精度是可以做到的。
竖杆的影子是模糊的，所以他们在顶端弄一个有小孔的板子，
测量这个小孔形成的光斑的距离，更加容易一些。
他们意识到，冬至发生的那一刻，并不一定在测量地的正午。
（这时只有在正对太阳的那个经度才是正午；他们应该没有这个概念）
冬至的时刻每年大概有1／4天的变化。为了确定具体的时刻，
在冬至前后几天测量影子长度，进行拟合，确定极值所在的时刻。
他们用了三个数据点，如果今天做的话，我们会用二次拟合；
他们的算法比较简陋，在一侧用两个点算个斜率，把这个斜率应用到
另一侧的一个点；这两个斜线的交叉点，就是极值了。
这个算法虽然过不了interview，但是结果也差不多少。
两个冬至之间，就是一个太阳年。他们计算了公元462年的冬至时刻
（有影子数据历史？）和1278年的冬至时刻，816年的跨度，
