gain, vs. 2.2bn cash loss on the trades. It is very low quality earnings,
the management just need to come up with something to cover that 2.2bn loss.
DB earnings more "normal" in this environment, i.e. if we take out the
trading loss and the one time gains to cover the 2.2bn losses from UBS's
earnings, it is probably better than what DB reported. |

议。先说一下背景，今年30，烂校计算机博士，在街上投行干了几年it&quant工作，实

这两个工作地点都在上海。
1： 排名前三的大型券商，自营部门投研，将来可转做交易。
pros: 平台好，稳定，里面也有熟识的人，能做出成绩的话升职加薪应该问题不大，加
之是行业巨头，扩展人脉的机会应该比较多。
cons：大公司通病，按部就班的吃大锅饭，没有个牛人带的话个人能力提升可能会比较
慢。
2： 初创型对冲基金，投资策略研究，短期内可能会摸到钱。资金应该问题不大，已经
有一个5亿的专户要上线了。
pros：创始团队比较牛，三个合伙人一个是前某大型券商的ceo，一个是证券领域的知
名律师，一个是花街精英，这边一个2bn fund的合伙人。这些人水平的确很高，我们这
个层次的人可能根本无法理解他们有多大的能量和社会资源，长期计划不仅限于只是开
个私募赚钱，还同时在筹备创办或收购一个证券公司，同时能开展一级二级市场的业务

现在有两个机会，
1）留在本公司，工作很稳定。老板还比较看重，过一年退休后，有可能会让我接班。
但是我自己都不是觉得很自信去接他的班。如果不接班，我现在也可以向公司的另一个
核心技术方面转型，或者commercial方面，主要就是project finance, planning, 或
者融资方面的。另外两个VP都口头上同意让我来帮忙，学习，只要我老板没有意见。这
样的话，我就有机会摆脱现在这种靠单一技术的吃饭的路子，以后的工作面可以比现在
宽广很多。
2）另一个start up公司找我去给他们的engineer manager，做的跟我先在做的基本类
似。好处在于给我当manager的机会，去之后又计划由我招2个人干活。扣除地区差异，
工资比现在大概高15%。这个公司的老板在我们这一行名气不小。99年他作了一个类似
的公司很成功。07年底卖了$2Bn. 现在又卷土重来，还是干这一行。虽然有点风险，但
是如果又像上一个卖掉的话，stock option也应该值不少钱。
