EL CAJON, Calif. – A California Highway Patrol officer helped slow a
runaway Toyota Prius from 94 mph to a safe stop on Monday after the car's
accelerator became stuck on a San Diego County freeway, the CHP said.
Prius driver James Sikes called 911 about 1:30 p.m. after accelerating to
pass another vehicle on Interstate 8 near La Posta and finding that he could

semester) program 还是Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program 。据我了解，
这两个program 不能joint 吧。 有一种是 master entry level 的可以 第一年上
accelerated (16 month-4 semester) program， 然后考 license. 第二年在接着上
master。就我所知，如果你没有这的nurse degree， 你不能申请Doctor of Nursing
Practice (DNP) Program 吧。
2。一般这样的项目有无奖学金这些？我问学费的问题，招生主任回答被录取以后就会
知道，但是到底大概是多少呢？他给我一个网站，上面都是关于奖学金的申请项目，有
10多项。
一般你没有绿卡，很难有奖学金，即使有， 和你的学费比， 也是 杯水车薪（ 我指的
是 accelerated program）。
3。这个program需要托福和GRE，以及需要WES评估以前的 |

1.国内护士执照的公正，在这里网上找的公证处，在纽约，叫最佳公正，电话

2.指纹卡，就在我住的地方的警察局办的，free
3.handbook上的申请表，贴一张照片在右下角（handbook链接：http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/exam-app.pdf）
这一页有一项是填社会安全号，我当时没有就空着的，没有关系。
4.两张支票，一张办指纹的($51)，一张申请的($75)
5.写了一封信，表示感谢，一张纸，很客气的几句话

所以要多找几所学校比较 每个学校要的先修课 额外的考试也不同
根据学校的不同 一般都是需要1-2个学期的先修课
需要解剖生理/生物/统计之类的课
比如我们学校把这个叫做
Accelerated Second-Degree Pathway 另外还要考NLN考试

国内或是这里毕业的已经考过了执照的护士可以申请这个：RN Pathway 要考Excelsior
考试
program的长度根据你之前大专先修课有多少课能从国内转过来来决定
如果是美国学生 已经ADN毕业 大都是边工作 边提交的申请 通常需要3-4个学期完成
一共是9门课的样子 课程都是安排在下午至晚上 方面护士调班
如果没有相对应的先修课 也是先补相应的先修课 大概额外需要1-2个学期
进了RN pathway以后 可以选加速的master
叫做RN Pathway Accelerated Maste |

不选择accelerated BSN/fast track BSN的原因是目前首要打算准备要个娃，年纪也不
小了，不想再拖了。我觉得边要娃边读个ADN我还是能handle的，要是读accelerated
BSN/fast track BSN肯定handle不了。再加上还有绿卡的原因，读accelerated BSN/
fast track BSN那么快读完了我们的绿卡还没排到呢。你说的BSN VS ADN，还有工作地
点的问题都是我纠结的地方。哎。。。人生纠结啊。。。我lg说我最初就不该学医，要
是学工科多好。我说人生再回转个10年重新准备高考还差不多～～

2006年我跟zt分别quit了国内的phd, 考g，考t，申请美国学校，最后的结局：一个东
海岸，一个西海岸。种种原因，我放弃了西边的offer，跟着zt在那年秋天踏上了美国
领土。
开始的生活是非常惬意，俺承认根本不是做学术的料，所以压根就没有打算再在zt这里
申请phd。而我对未来则是一片茫然，难道今后要一直做家庭主妇？回答当然是否定的

学分的先修课，至少要先修一年。然后就可以申请了。
建议楼上的，先把ADN读着，同时申请accelerated BSN. 两者不矛盾。
如果是很会读书考试的可以放弃ADN，全力搞accelerated BSN，就是风险比较高，谁也
不能保证一申请就能去读。申请不中，那又是浪费一年时光。 |
