The best option is to find a Stanford dorm, join ACSSS mailing list. The
downside is that you might have problem parking your car.
If you have a car or do not mind 20min biking, you can try Mountain View
where there are more houses/apts for rental and prices are more reasonable,
around 650-800/month. |

在五月十二日，在中国四川汶川地区发生了7.8级强烈地震。截至目前为止，地震已造成28,881人死亡，198,347人受
伤，14,000余人失踪或被掩埋。为了纪念在地震中遇难的同胞，斯坦福中国学生学者联谊会，联合学校其他部门组织，将在五

发帖数: 225 | 32 偶现在在Stanford,打球的人确实很多. 我们现在是每个周日下午3点, 在
Stanford Ford Center. 基本上有三个队伍(或者四个), Stanford的
学生一个(水平很参差不齐, 赫赫), 外面成年队一个(好象都是30-40的人),
台湾队一个(我不很清楚,不过操台湾国语), 还有一个Gay队(也是听
谣言),可能是ABC或者港澳台同胞,不过看起来很GAY, hehe.
我从前和Riemann, torent在UC打球, 后来毕业了,来这边postdoc,
听说我们UC(我总是喜欢说我们UC,虽然已经毕业了)已经不打球了,
很伤心.MII现在和V-club的人一起打球了.
Stanford 校队的水平颇高, 我看过他们男子的比赛,至少在我看来
很职业,打得很精彩.
这边IM水平也挺高,ACSSS(相当于CSSA)组织了个队参加, 4人制,
只进了前八(我也是队员之一, 只不过没上场几次, sigh).
