To your answer, yes, OTC drugs can be addictive, such as the cough syrup.
But it is extremely unlikely for the OTC painkiller drugs to be addictive.
That's because painkillers are most likely to be abused, and so FDA pays
extreme attention to all painkillers, especially OTC painkillers. |

迪奥唇彩被指致敏 英国老太“破相”(图)

英国《每日邮报》近日报道称，英国索尔福德62岁的琳达·罗伯茨在使用迪奥魅惑唇彩（DIOR ADDICT）后发生了过敏反应。唇部起泡、开裂之后变得“面目全非”，以她自己的话形容就像“一个怪物”。
罗伯茨自称，她使用这款唇彩已经很多年了，但是迪奥公司在最近修改了这款唇彩的成分。而检查结果也显示，罗伯茨的过敏原因也正是由于唇彩里的新成分—没食子酸丙酯。
过敏“破相”
唇部过敏起泡后开裂 “觉得自己又脏又丑”
报道称，罗伯茨起初唇部感觉刺痛，随后起泡，过敏处最终发生开裂。因为觉得自己“又脏又丑”，她错过了自己结婚40周年纪念日，甚至不想出门，不敢面对外人。
在医生诊所工作的罗伯茨，以前就用过迪奥魅惑唇彩，所以从来没有质疑过其有问题。在服用大量不同药物无效后，罗伯茨决定停止正在使用的“迪奥魅惑—蜜糖粉”唇彩，以防病情变得更糟，令她惊奇的是，她的过敏状况竟然消失了。经过几个月的痛苦后，真相终于揭晓—罗伯茨女儿新给她买的唇彩中，迪奥公司添加了没食子... 阅读全帖 |
