所谓cellular adhesion指两个细胞或者一个细胞和另外一个平面拈连.
首先是patch,也就是一个versicle(相当于细胞膜)和另一个平面接触.
一般有两种方法:一是加入non-specific adhesive,可以将两者粘在一起;
另一种方法是使用比较重的heavy versicle,这样在重力作用下就会与水平的平面产生
接触.
接下来的过程是patch growth,也就是两者接触的平面逐渐扩张以降低能量.
具体的过程是细胞的表面和另外一个平面上的stickers之间不断产生binding.
内容就不详细讲了.
接下来他讲了一个general的问题,就是两个浸润的表面,从开始接触后,接触的面积
随时间的变化,涉及到表面张力和hydrodynamics.
Scaling的结果是
R(接触面积的线度)正比于时间的5/8次方.
最后一些更复杂的情形包括
1.非正常的adhesion,比如两者连接的平面并不是完全接触而是在中间形成一个dimple.
2.当两个平面带电的情况
3.在patch里面扩散很慢的情况

不过对我的project的定义很模糊
我的是力学背景，现在在弄adhesion/adhesive的测试，但是没有化学背景，一点
polymer背景.
现在很难给自己定位,很想在adhesive company继续做测试，但是大多需要化学背景或
者polymer 背景。 去搞力学吧，还没有相关的project,背景也不强。不知道我这样的
经历应该focus在什么样的工作上。
最喜欢做experiment，不知道有没有什么专门做experiment的company. 比如testing
laboratory company之类的。 怎么查呢？

月的check-up,其他倒还正常，体重虽然三个月才长了2磅（今天18磅多一点
儿），但总算average了。可老美医生说宝宝 labial adhesions，她指给我
看，我才明白，据她的解释是小女生体内荷尔蒙底造成的，给开了用于成人（主
要是更年期女性）的增加荷尔蒙的药，如果抹这个药不行的话，就要
operation了,不过她安慰我说，这个药应该很有效，她从医几十年只有一次真
正需要手术的病人。我回想起来宝宝小便时有尿不尽，好像一点一点的出来的情
况，真是自责！我是不是太粗心了？我怎么之前从来没听说过这个毛病呢？是不
是看育儿书不够啊？？我刚刚上网查了一些资料，除了一些基本情况，这个粘连
好像还会复发，既再次粘上，急死我了！！想知道板上有没有JMS的女宝宝有过
这个问题呢？怎么好的？也有人说是因为感染，或清洁不够，可我们隔天洗澡，
不洗澡那天就洗屁屁，平时臭臭完了，如果觉得有必要也会清洗，跟这个有关系
吗？谁能帮帮我家宝宝啊？ |

adhesion的形貌和intracelluar actin network的3D组织有关，而actin network的形
成又和ECM的力学和几何形貌有关。比如在表面上，fibrinectin coated surface的大
小，形状都影响actin network形貌和细胞形状。从二维到三维, 拓扑上的改变更为剧
烈。所以看不见通常在二维成像上定义的focal adhesion斑块也属正常。
可能更重要的问题应该是调控二维表面focal adhesion形成和稳定性的蛋白们是否也调
控三维cell-ECM相互作用和cell migration. 在三维, 过去已经知道会形成
pseudopodia. 这个结构调控细胞migration, 而这个结构的形成又被focal adhesion
