After that, someone was done with the computer with those shot analysis, he
told me I can give a try.
I never test my swing speed and ball speed for my driver before. I was
thinking, let's try it.
afterward, I use iphone to take a picture of those analysis.
I circled it with red. 9 shots, 1 of them i pulled, i scratched it.
Hope you can see the other 8. Can someone help me to interpret those numbers

1.They require a syllabus or other type of course description. But I cannot
find these for my chinese BA degree.I only have english trasctrpt.
2.They also require "secondary school" diploma,transcript...I only have
these from my college records.
Does everybody have to submit these two above when they do the ECE Subject
Analysis evaluation?

many chips you did and what is your exact defination of
down or up regulation, algorithm used, etc.
clustering, in most cases, does not make biological sense at
all. What you can do is to select the list of genes with good
P value and use Affymetrix's website for GO analysis, it is hard
to save results but kinda give you a tree like structure based
on your genes GO identity.

没有什么太深的东西。就看你怎么把不同的数据集综合起来，确定显著性和作用效果。
好多现成方法都非常直观。
现在不少人用综合不同的 GWAS 数据集，做meta－analysis。好多人都凭直觉来做，也
说得过去。比如最简单的就是，gene在A集中显著，B集中也显著，那就更确信这个gene
的association。如果A集中显著，B集中不显著，那就再费点脑子，massage一下数据（
也就是 meta－analysis 一下）。当然这种massage的方法最好别人发表过的。各种
massage的方法多如牛毛，你再组合组合，很大的可能你可以找到一种方法，弄个显著
出来。不过这样能不能通过review，就看你运气了。 |

Generally speaking, there are two ways to perform meta-analysis,by combining
effect sizes (parametric method) or combining significance levels (non-parametric
method). For each method, the statistic for meta-analysis was selected based
on the null. For example, if the null is that no genes are differentially
expressed in all studies vs all genes are DE genes, then the maximum p-value
statistic can be used to combine p-values.

一个是Pearson's Correlation 一个是 Euclidean Distance。
哪位大侠能深入浅出的给讲讲，有什么区别？
如果我相比较组间gene expression区别有多大，是不是用Euclidean Distance 比较好？

测序从机器里面出来的是一段段的nucleotide序列，后续工作一般从这里开始。
粗略的说，一般第一步是mapping，就是把读出来的片段根据reference genome一段段
拼接起来。由于数据量很大，比如现在一条lane至少有几百万个read，快速和有效的算
法是必不可少的。这对计算机的要求也比较高，主要指内存，硬盘读写的速度，和cpu
的快慢。有了这个aligned文件以后，就可以根据自己的问题研究不同的内容。比如找
SNP/SNV，copy number variation，insertion/deletion。由于整个过程处理的是大文
件，linux比windows要有效率的多，而且由于大部分数据处理只是data manipulation
，在这种情况下script language更加方便易用。
所以现阶段做NGS analysis主要有这几个要求：
1 linux的基本操作
2 会至少一种script language，比如perl/python
3 会submit job to cluster，因为绝大多数情况下程序是在服务器而不是单机上运行

each type of interaction data. There are also quite a few commercial ones,
like MetaCore or IPA. MetaCore has more analysis options than IPA. Just my

analysis. I know pair-end is much better than single-end in accuracy. But

发帖数: 1312 | 37 我也没做过，想想就觉得不容易。RNA-seq大多数基因都有明确的boundary，很好统计
每个gene/transcript的count。但是ChIP-seq就太复杂了。是按照每个binding site在
不同条件下来比较呢？还是调节某个基因的所有binding sites来比较？后者不但要考
虑gene length，还要考虑如何定义哪些binding sites是调节哪个基因的，这个现有知
识估计还不完全吧。
简单查了一下，目前differential binding analysis（我之前叫DE其实不对），几乎
都是比较单个的binding site/peak的count差异（如果是这样的话我觉得应该不用考虑
基因长度的影响）。下边篇文章比较了十几个ChIP-seq differential analysis的软件
，简单的提到了gene ontology，找nearest gene。所以应该还是可以做GO的。里边也
提到length of differential region, 不过我就没有细看了。希望能有点帮助。

我从一个initial guess开始,用简单的sensitivity analysis进行迭代。效果还可以.
我知道sensitivity analysis对初值的依赖性很强,如果initial guess太差,可能无法
收敛.
实际运行中,我发现:
如果initial guess太差,H矩阵产生奇异,rank只有2,而非4.
这个就算是无法收敛吗?
还是因为我在计算梯度时候的步长取小了,造成H矩阵奇异呢? |

advanced classes. It teaches splines which is required for Computer
Graphics. It also teaches solving optimization equations, which is a
