I don't think today's correction is cause for concern. the market is down so
ARNA is just following the market a bit.
If you can't hold, then by all means, sell. My recommendation is to hold
until Sept 13th. I expect to see $7 by then. Or if you are the option type,
establish a long call position, then sell by Sept 13th to capitalize on IV
explosion.

I offer 2 suggestions:
1. sell covered calls Aug 5c for $.45. This lowers your cost basis to $3.31
but caps your profit at $5.45.
2. sell all if ARNA breaks $5. $5 is a psychological threshold and many
funds can't buy stocks under $5.

这个公司的新药：减肥，有效果，但是去年被FDA 否决，接着做安全试验，去年冬天的
结果不错，今年6月份的结果也不错。最近几天有消息说FDA 面临压力，应该批准新减
肥药。而且VVUS的要也可以提前再次申请。所以这几天 就都涨。
对于减肥药，我认同很有市场，美国人很需要，从我读到的ARNA的结果看，还不错。如
果真的再次申请得到批准，它的价格会飞上天的。 |

的，那两个都是混合两种已有的证明有副作用的药物，ARNA这个是新药，效果没有那两
个好但是比那两个安全。明天争论的焦点会是效果是不是足够好，同时对副作用的研究
到底透彻了没有。明天开会期间会halt（估计直到AH），今天没上船的就等着看戏吧。
我是hedge了。通过的几率比50/50好点但是应该不会好太多，briefing doc还是提出了
各种数据上的问题。有人说这个药批不批不只是FDA说了算了，congress也开始重视肥
胖问题，senate似乎还要求FDA在3月底前拿出方案...
另一个，如果通过了的话，我是不觉得能到30...当然挂了的话就是为1开头而战了。 |
