i bought Glenn Gould's The goldberg variations.
love it sooooo much.
strongly recommend it to all bach lovers.
glenn gould performed the romatic side of bach's great works.
i didn't realize it was bach's works at the first time.
do you believe that Gould's recording of C major prelude and fugue
from WTC1 was sent to space in 1971 to represent one of the best salutes
from human? it is true.

晃的短波节目里，陈志的，大约7～8年前〕，那时就很喜欢。
当时陈志把Segovia弹的Bach无伴奏大提琴组曲No.3中的Curante
和马友友的大提琴演奏作了对比。也许因为音质的关系吧，
觉得还是吉它和声丰富，好听些。
近来看了马友友的系列剧“inspired by Bach”，感觉大提琴
的演奏真是美极了。音色厚重，充满激情。看马友友的演奏
本身也是中欣赏，一种平衡的激情。
此外还很喜欢Bach的无伴奏小提琴曲。非常著名的（对弹吉它的
人来说〕，是Chaconne(BWV1004)。 |

For me,Ma Yo Yo's performance is not so profound as required
by Bach.

this piece has a relaxing but also a sad aura.
i think Bach has had a tragic experience that would make him want to compose
a sad piece like this.this piece sounds like a tribute to someone very dear
who died.

后来Smash city 的人和他们打友谊赛，第一场是个老黑和一小伙子，那老黑杀球剧凶
，可对对手造不成任何威胁，球一般都被平抽回来或放网前，根本没有高点扣杀的机会
，没多久就败下阵来。后来又换上几对选手车轮大战，有一对还不错，颇打了些来回。
水平的差距表现明显呀！和高手打球，很少能在很舒服的位置打球，所以即便有些技术
也发挥不出来，就很容易败得很惨。 |

totally absorbed
in it.But when I tried his Italian Concerto and paritia, I found they
were not
as good as Goldberg Variation.They lack that kind of energy and power.
So far as Bach 's keyboard woks are concerned,I think Schiff is also a
specialist.
In a sense, not below Gould.His style is different.And Cds of Schiff
get better
sound effects.I have tried his English suites.The more I listen to it
,the
more I like it.It is straight |

repetition and almost every bar offeres some new music ideas in way of new
harmony or structure. it took me a week to memorize a 3 part fuge by him and i
still cannot always remember the articulation/dynamics of each note when i
play. on the contrary it took me only 1 day or two to memorize the fast
movements of mozart's k332

But from my exprience when I could play bach's french suit at normal
speed, I could already memorize it.
I think singing really hard, because piano works are hard to sing out,
so it does not help to memeorize the scores. |
