(1)首先是2月15日USCIS局长今天下午到国会作证,有人埋怨他催促下属迅速审批移民申
请.
(2)2月16日左右,NVC fee notice开始发出.到目前为止有PD2011-Jan收到的.
下面blog分析看出,USCIS以现在的批件速度,估计又要浪费FY2012的名额.director的
ASS做不住了,让手下提速,然后被搞,国会听证(1).
另一个措施就是本财年内依仗CP的GC审批来弥补,这也是下面blog作者持有的观点.因为
DOS海外的批件速度比AOS快多了.这可能就是为什么NVC的fee notice发到了2011年初(
令人震精...).
如果是这样的话,2010下半年的PD就有福了(交485). 而且VB:Apri-June会继续稳步前进
,希望能包括所有2010PDers.USCIS也不敢冒然加快批件(1),只能继续放水让CP来弥补浪
费名额.
这样的话,summer的VB倒退可能性也不大.
下月的VB拭目以待....

rate is 3800kpbs, or about 3.7Mbps for 720p. so for that, higher
bandwidth maybe needed.
don't know if you can force netflix to stream at 3.7Mbps rate, and let
it buffer for a few minutes before watching. if you can, then 3Mbps
connection is still ok.
and about quality, I have had bad experience with various cable
companies, COX, Charter, TimeWarner. frequent downtime, unreliable speed

contents. 1600kbps is good enough. Depends on their implementation, i don't
think you can force a certain bandwidth. Most of the streaming players out
there dictate "the best" viewing experiences for you.
Speaking of COX, can you imagine if you work for the company and when you
had to make a business call? Hey, this is xxxx from COX... THAT SOUNDS SO
WRONG lol

capacity as HD channel consumes high bandwidth. You can certainly use 铁丝,
but its S/N is much poorer than some antenna that optimizes the reception at
high frequencies.
I used to live in Canada, and tried to watch US channels broadcast from the
border towers. Silver sensor can get me ~20 HD channels, while rabbit ear
cannot get a single one.
Of course, if you live very close to the tower, 铁丝 may give you decent
signal, too. |

fios就更强了，光纤 last mile，家用网络瓶颈都是last mile，光纤是最终解决这个

but ATT High Speed DSL service.
Uverse is suppose to be Fiber Optics to the Curb/building, then copper to
the interior units type of service. If the fiber has not been pulled to a
certain area yet, then the website will simply show your zip code as being
unavailable and recommend the ATT high speed DSL instead. The Verbiage used
could be vague enough to trick some people though.
