CUNY 是 City University of New York的缩写
在CUNY 旗下一共有23个不同的community Colleges, 四年制大学还有CUNY-Graduate C
enter （most of phd programs）
你这个link是CUNY旗下以商科一类为主的四年制大学 Baruch College。此学校位于man
hattan 东边 23街， 6 train 可到达，Baruch 帅哥美女比较多。哈哈。
去年有个cornell University的朋友申请这个prgoram 被拒了！ 然后他就留在Cornell
读他的MFE， 不过好像 Cornell的MFE也是在manhattan downtown上课，不需要去纽约
上州Ithaca的主校区， 所以 相对之下 social networking还是比较容易。
由于Baruch College是公立大学，在NYC地区的口碑都还不错。 如果你离开NYC 也许好
多人，肯定是很多人都不知道Baruch College。 正是由于Baruch College是公立大学，

发帖数: 186 | 8 如果楼主不差钱，当然去念NYU啦。如果经济上还是要考虑考虑的话，Baruch性价比最
高。我五六年前找工作的时候，那时候NYU还没有会计硕士，只有本科会计。说真的进
四大的时候难度没有觉得有多大不同。主要是NYU本科学会计那些人，一般都是双学位
，其中一个是会计，大部分人都是奔着投行去的，最后去做会计的很少。但是现在开了
会计硕士情况就不同了，这些人会真的跟Baruch的毕业生竞争。
但是我想说的是，在纽约会计行业，NYU的人脉可能还真比不上Baruch的人脉，理由同
上，早期NYU毕业生干会计的不多，大部分都去了金融。但是Baruch大把大把会计毕业
生，现在活跃在纽约会计的各个层面。以后NYU的network也会追上来，可是就目前而言
，NYU在人脉上没有太大优势。在这行浸淫久了的同学都知道找工作network是一件多么
重要的事情，可能除了你自身的素质能力之外就是最重要的了。而你的校友就是你最重
要的的network！一定切记！ |

说Baruch accounting比NYU好就是扯淡了，谁去看排名？NYU accounting是在stern下
的，可以甩baruch那个啥商学院几条街了 |

发帖数: 2564 | 14 I think Baruch accepts about 1/4 of the applicants, and Pace takes over 3/4.
Other choices will include Queens College and St. John. Columbia has
Accounting as well.
However, since you ask "值得去", then Baruch is it. The other schools are
good but just don't have as big of a focus on Accounting as Baruch.
Also, if you have money to go to Pace or Fordham, then just spend a little
more and go to NYU instead. |

，NYU就不用说了，更好，但从性价比来看，我推荐Baruch的program，后2个都是
private的。 Baruch的MST就业一向很好。 |

回LZ，NY我知道的有会计硕士的有Baruch college，Pace Univ.,St John's Univ.
Baruch 性价比高，声誉不错。不过要求有起码一年工作经验。或者有很优秀的社团活
动也许有机会。地点好。
Pace 学费比较高。地点好。
St John's不了解。。。

我若干年前上的时候，作为国际学生一学分500，算是很便宜了。同学嘛，国际学生多
，中国学生格外多。但是不知道是我那届好还是怎么的，感觉中国同学都很团结，大家
都会分享复习资料。只要中国学生多的地方学习氛围就很浓烈，我们那届个个都几乎全
A，搞得我当年压力很大。不过Baruch研究生的就业形势远不及本科生，本科生有单独
的招聘会，大多数企业都不对研究生开放，基本上对国际学生来说，没拿到四大offer
，找工作形势就比较悬了。但是四大Baruch校友多，要是能找到人内推，即使校园招聘
没拿到Offer，还能赶每年4月份时候的最后一次招聘，
当然我的情况是若干年前，有现在在那里上学的同学来分享一下 |

校有不少转学生都是觉得Baruch太难念了后来转过去的。去NYU念会计？除非钱多吧或
者根本不想进传统的会计行业，Pace和Fordham我也觉得不划算，当然了，这些program
学费昂贵读的人相对少竞争也就小点了。Baruch绝对是最物美价廉的不过得拼。 因为
便宜，国际生不少，如果需要sponsor的话，竞争真不小。 |

了CS，SB的会计根本拿不出手。会计说难不难，就算让你轻松毕业了之后不还得考CPA
么。本人Baruch毕业现在纽约四大，当年的朋友同学现在也多在四大或mid-size混得不
错。以纽约的Office来说Baruch绝对是公校招的最多的，就连GT, McGladrey，Eisner
这些NYC Top 10也是大把Baruch的好么。 |

，Ex, Rutgers, Pace, 都很贵，不要说哥大，或nyu 了。
还有什么和Baruch 相当的学校吗？ 在学费，或reputation 方面？
Baruch 的TOEFL 分要求很高。他达不到那个分数，虽然他的GMAT 不错，在国内已经是
Master毕业了

Rutgers Newark Campus and CUNY Baruch are decent. I know people from these
two schools have done well at my firm.
All other private schools such as Pace, St John's are not as good as Rutgers
or Baruch in my opinion. |

读四年制度大学两年读完啥都没有，我同学当年就是在四年制读完两年了不太想读了 啥
也没有 想转去BMCC 手续办理的晚了 也没成功！
CUNY内部转学 读完一年都可以转 或者读完两年再去四年制的CUNY学校 也不回损失太多
