brentwood就假定你从santa monica上405了， long beach要看开到哪？假定你开到
long beach downtown那好了。如果不堵车估计要35-45min
周末一般早上没啥人。工作日一般在LAX那会小堵一会，7,8点还行，车不算多。有时候
快到torrance也会堵，不过一般都还好。 一直到long beach都还可以。

。。不过我一个没去，没实际经验。
去年9月考察Manhattan Beach那个，$1603/月，好处是不光午餐，早餐都管。坏处是所
有娃一个大教室，没有完全隔断，挺吵；两岁以下那边的playground没有shade，我一
看都晒得慌，大娃那边好多了，忘了三岁是去哪边。。 |

另外，这几个区里有没有特别应该避免的街区。
我看到几个2bedroom apt(craiglist)，$1400左右，不知这个价格是否合理。在这几个区算偏低还是偏高？

上看日出。没有想好，是直接开到cape cod，一直待到星期四晚上去boston。还是选择
某一个beach待一天，然后周三去cape cod。小孩一个4岁，一个7岁。大家有什么好建

刚过去的这个Memorial day周末，数十万观众涌入位于纽约长岛的最大海滩公园Jones
beach, 观看一年一度的Air show。每年位于长岛Jones beach的飞行秀是国殇日长周末
的一项重头戏，各种特技飞行表演如高空垂降，低空飞行，跳伞特技，列队表演等等从
中午12点持续到下午5点，期间高潮不断，经常听见观众们的欢呼鼓掌声。

五人(两位老人,自己和LD,再加一个2岁的孩子),三天两晚,Hotel的位置在Norfolk和
Virginia Beach之间。
Norfolk一天,打算去看看Chespeake Bridge,海军基地(希望能看到航母),还有威斯康星
巡洋舰。
为Virginia Beach留出了一天半的时间,可是现在自己还定不出任何具体的计划。
到海滩边游游泳,散散步,稍微晒晒太阳(LD不喜欢晒太阳)......自己能想出来的只有这
些。
各位住在Virginia Beach,或者去过那里游览的XDJM,可否给我一些建议和注意事项?

For 3.5 year old, theme park is a lot better.
There a lot of them within a few hours drive from DC.
Highly suggest idlewild, lots of shade, not super busy, perfect for 3.5 old.
You can also try hershey, dutch wonderland and sesame place (we are going to
that one for the the first time).
All parks have water rides and some kind of kid friendly beach.

FL这里beach上都是插杆子钓鲨鱼的居多
也就春季可能碰上pompano&blue的鱼群比较爽一点

凌晨五点半,我就把另两个同伴吵醒了,因为要去看日出.看海上日出是我一直的心愿,因为
小学时学过巴金的”海上日出”,好像还要背诵全文,所以印象很深. 我们几个人还是迷迷
糊糊的,就开车上路,往海边方向走.到了一处海滩,我们把车趴下,一直走到沙滩上.当时天
边已有一丝亮色,海风吹在身上,颇有一些凉意.海天交接处,云层似乎很厚,仿佛有些朝霞,
然而阳光很难透过层层的乌云,我们知道这天是不会有日出了,但是大家还是坚持等了一会
儿,直到天渐渐亮了起来.我终于明白为什么海上日出是如此的难得了.我们在沙滩上逗留
了一会儿,就回到车上,反正也没有具体的安排,就决定逛逛West Palm Beach这个城市.
Palm Beach是传说中富人的度假天堂,城市很新,建筑稀稀拉拉的,保持着海滩度假城市的
原始的美,街边到处是小公园,网球场,人也很少,只有个把”富人们”一大早起来跑步,遛
狗.天气渐渐的好起来,开始现出蓝天白云, 又是一个经典的海滨早晨,金色的沙滩就在公

可能有用：
1. South Miami Beach有条岛上的公共汽车路线: Miami Beach Local
(Route 123)，环绕整个小岛基本上哪里都可以去，每10-15分钟一趟，
票价每人只要$0.25！这样可以把车停在一个地方，坐公共汽车很方便
到处转，不用徒步走路，省了很多力气。我是把车停在City Hall对面
的大garage，有人管理，不是投币的，每小时1块钱，全天8块，门口
就有那个bus。
2. Key West的City Hall的停车场(在Simonton Street上，US !公路上有
指示牌到那里)，从圣诞节前一星期到圣诞节期间metered停车位免费！
我是正准备投币时一个负责维修meter的工作人员跑过来告诉我的，他说
他刚听说圣诞节前一星期meter免费，所以不需要投币。他看我将信将疑，
就说虽然他不是管parking的，但是消息是真的，并把他的名字和电话
抄给我，说如果我的车在那儿被罚了ticket |

fortune. But you can go out to miami beach one night. it is nice at night,
busy in the streets, but once you enter the beach, it is actually rather
quiet. You could watch the moon and stars and listen to the wave sounds. |

Lauderdale Beach Hotel，key west两天，住Chelsea House Pool & Gardens, south
beach 一天，最后上午去个bal harbour购物。晚上飞机飞回纽约。感觉这样的行程很
悠闲，适合带着父母转。south beach我在hotwire了整了个80多的，the chelsea
hotel, 看评价觉得就是可能晚上吵，不过也就住一天。具体每天干嘛还没想好，不知
