be sun burnt.
Don't worry about the crowded, never happened for trail.
Parking depends on which part you choose to start your biking, I know
northern side is very hard to find a spot, if after 10am. There are plenty
of parking lots at southern side.
My tips, if you can't get up before 7am, then biking after 6pm. Heading for
south, and back after sunset if you can't finish the whole trail, you're

clark上面的cycle smithy，非常非常的专业，产品线也是拉的很长，从低到高。价格
也是local店里比较合适的。
halsted上面的performance bike，服务无比之好，sales个别不是很懂。价格打折无比
便宜，不打折比较高。可以要求match网上的价格。
2手车：lake front有很多bike shop现在在卖2手车，199起，价格还算可以吧。至少是
tune up过的，比craiglist上面的稳定性要好很多。
还有bikedirect这个网站。我就是那里买的，随便看了一下你们的租车网站，配置还没
我的高，50刀一天，租个一周都可以买个新的了。 |

这个biking原本不在计划之中，买东西的时候无意中看到店门口挂的横幅，仔细跟店老
板一打听，原来可以在他的店里租车，一路骑到Aspen，把车drop在那里的分店，然后
坐free shuttle bus返回snowmass。从snowmass到aspen大概10几迈的样子，只有中间
一迈上坡，剩下的或是路下坡或是平路。听起来很适合我们这样的休闲派，何况我们本
也打算去aspen逛一逛。
心动不如行动。第二天一早我们就直奔店里租车。要说这snowmass/aspen的biking
trail维护的还真不赖，比如我们骑的这一线就都是由沥青铺成，所以骑起来很轻松；
各个trail的交叉点都会有牌子指示，所以不用担心迷路。

bike的尺寸是量seat tube。不幸的是各厂家的量法不太一样。有的是从bottom
bracket中心到seat post顶端，有的是到seat tube和top tube相交的地方。Trek就是
前者。选road bike的尺寸第一原则是跨过top tube站着，top tube到裆应该有1-2寸的
clearance。从top tube到地面的距离叫standover。standover应该比你的inseam小1-2

12 1/2 miles and took me 48 minutes in the morning, and felt good afterwards

象。一个是风阻更小的，另一个就是frame设计得使得下一段跑步时用到的肌肉不至于
用太多太累。不过大概刚开始弄个road bike也感觉不出来啥区别，等成绩上去了才考
虑专车专用的事情。。

mo, I built a Hanglun/Airborne/Flyte ti bike with 105 8sp grouppo etc.,
costing a total of $700. It actually was a very solid and serious bike
without many gimmicks.
I am not saying you should spend more money on a bike than on your wife's
engagement ring (nor am I saying you shouldn't:-)), but just giving an
example of how elastic "afford" can mean.
