George Washington / Benjamin Franklin 屈指可数的几本。
Social study 就是玩玩而已。书都没读多少，历史都不晓得，
social study 个球。。。
以上这些跟 fiction reading 的量根本没法比。
不过这不怪美帝小学。美帝小学教育是兴趣驱动为主。如果大部分娃
没兴趣，只有少数娃有兴趣，那这玩意儿就没法在学校课堂里以主流
方式来教，最多就蜻蜓点水点一下。。。 |

对于探索型的人生道路，过早恋爱影响还是蛮大的。important
developmental stage 的缘故，特别是 emotion regulating
的培养阶段。说白了可能对走职业道路男娃的影响实际上可能更大些。
另外，探索型人生道路的，跟 high school sweetheart 结婚的概率
极小，至少西方是这样，看看 biography 就知道。。。俺觉得是 the
cost of exploring。。。
当然，总是有小概率个例事件。另外文艺类专业另说。。。

没有图画，是故意的，让娃集中精力于文字上。因为 fiction 比较 verbal 一些。
如果你喜欢漂亮的图片，去图书馆 non-fiction section 看看。娃这个年龄的
non-fiction book 通常配很多图（除了 biography）。因为 non-fiction
相对比较 spatial 一点。 |

俺大娃啥时会让俺给她选书？。。。书都是娃自己选的。。。俺最多 recommend
/ strongly recommend。。。俺只拥有某些否决权，基本没啥具体哪一本书的
选择权。。。
如果说娃的职业方向。。。娃自己去看 biography（人物传记），有问题
会来问我，我有问必答就完事了。。。而且娃么，今天喜欢这个，明天喜欢那个

况且，人生观这玩意儿，属于 non-fiction literature 的范畴，
根本不是 non-fiction science/math 的范畴的东东。。。

lexile measure 是个好东西。。。不过俺提醒一下 lexile measure 其实只 measure
文字本身的难度，不衡量内容的难度。。。看具体的娃，不排除 1200L 的 biography
能读下来，但 900L 的 astronomy / human body 一知半解。。。另外比如 900L 和
IG900L 可能也会有点差别。。。还有 lexile 是全书的平均，书中不同的章节不排除
有不小的差别，特别是出现阐述不同类型的内容的情况。。。
另外图书馆有些不错的书，不一定有 lexile measure。。。主观感觉 800L level
的，似乎有一小半查不到 lexile measure。。。主观感觉 1100L level 的，似乎有
3/4 查不到 lexile measure，连一些有名的出版社的也可能查不到。。。不过如果
lexile 都查不到，其他的一般更查不到。。。所以我觉得父母能参与娃读书的话，

college 的扇子。。。
支持大量偏向 liberal arts 的, 反对 common core 很正常。因为 common core 的一
大目的就是平衡 informational text 和纯文学的 fiction literacy, 小学要求 50%
50%。。。当然, 中印友谊村家长表示很高兴就是了。。。
另外其中有些段落用了惯用的偷换 prose novel (fiction) 和属于 informational
text 的 non-fiction literature (history/biography/news)。。。比如, history
不是 story, 但 study human nature 应该不比莎翁逊色多少。。。 |

non-fiction literature。Common Core 里面归类在 informational text 里。
non-fiction 另外包括 science, 小学里面比较大众的是 animal/plant/astronomy/
geography 等等这些 topic, common core 好像特地强调了要有 human body 。。。
我怀疑你没有完全读懂你们州的 common core 教育大纲的 ELA 部分。。。
另外, 平衡的问题, 50% / 50% 没大错, 另外记得 fiction 也分很多 genre。。。当
然, 内容比较复杂的 genre, 需要等娃 ready 。。。

俺娃三年级初很喜欢读的一本 non-fiction 是：

当然她三年级更多的是读 娃版 Human Body 和

（不仅仅是 IQ 测试分数）分情况讨论：
1）如果真正的 IQ 相对较低，最有效的办法确实是文学，或者直言就是灌鸡汤。
2）如果真正的 IQ 相对较高，娃版 non-fiction biography 不失为一个办法。
你说的 “（书上）那些人的生平，（跟我们）会有很大距离”，我承认的确是事实。
但是另一方面，remote empathy，也就是 empathy get from text / TV-radio
(at the speed of light, not speed of sound) 是不是可能，不指望当前政治
正确的心理学能回答这个问题，我觉得还是实践出真知更重要。
3）如果真正的 IQ 相对更高一些，那么娃版 life science 和娃版 cosmology
也是可以考虑的一个方面。。。这些虽然不太会有立竿见影直接的影响，但还是
能潜移默化地影响娃的 subconscious 里的 philosophic。。。从而潜移默化

Ph.D.
不知道这个a copy of your Ph.D. 是什么意思？ 还没拿到学位的似乎可以在学校开具
一个xx时将获得博士学位的证明，这是最常见的情况。我这种毕业的呢？是应该去学校
相关部门开一个证明我学位有效的东西（比如我翻译的英文版证书上盖个章），还是去
社会上的公证机构办理学位公证？刚才问了一下，办个去美国的学位证明要1000左右，
太贵了！而且是很多页的小册子，传过去也麻烦。

I need some real experienced to teach me something overall.
This is my first year trading, I read about 30 technical books,
3 fundamental books, 15 options books, 5 futures books, and a lot
biography, interviews stuff, cummulatively, used about 500000% leverage,
There result is not so good even the first 100% gain was like a flash.
I think I came to a bottleneck right now, I would go nowhere unless I
make some big change with myself, emotion mostly. |

计划新开几百家店，我想连越南都不放过，那在全亚洲那还不是玩了命地扩张，后来的
又宣布在缅甸开店更证明了这一条。
二是去年6，7月的time周刊特意发过一篇文章对它老板的采访，大意是老板对某样政治
主张很支持，而且成立了一个group且是leader.我想这哥们绝不仅仅是个摆小摊卖汽水
的，他野心大得很，而且知道把政治和买卖绑在一起玩，这才是赚大钱的路子。我想起
2011年biography channel播过老板的发家故事，他给所有分店的员工都买了健康保
险，并深以为豪，这在麦当劳之流是不可想象的。看来老板的公司管理是一个很长远的
打算。
可惜的是买入后2周内就ER miss,从$51跌到$43，我咬咬牙，心想这基本面没变化呀，
所以忍着，果然跌了两周后就反弹到$46，然后就猪着，我想还行，看来这厮没被墙街
抛弃，又忍了一个月，发弹至$51，没想到大选后又给跌到$45，但那时大盘在11月都在
跌，所以没什么，那几周紫荆mm的牛市可期给了偶很大鼓励，我接着忍，然后就到现在
了。
