3 月25日晚的WOBURN，仍然春寒料峭，凉意袭人。尤其是这个WEST CUMMING PARK
商业区，入夜便寂静冷清。而在这里的亚洲文化活动中心却热闹欢快，歌声阵阵。原来是
北京医科大学（BMU）波士顿校友会部分成员再次相聚，以歌会友。只见：老友重逢，自
然分外亲切；新朋初识，更是今夕何夕。
北京医科大学（现名北京大学医学部）创建于1912年，是中国政府教育部依靠中国
自己的力量开办的第一所专门传授西方医学的国立学校。经过近百年的不懈努力，今天的
北医，已是一个学科专业齐全，科研力量雄厚，治病救人无数的集教学、科研、医疗为一

I am planning to take FPGEE within couple of years. Last month I sent my
transcripts to ECE for credentials evaluations. ECE sent me a letter asking
for transcripts signed by a school official. My question is, all the official
transcripts are actually sealed with the stamp on the envelope, did anyone
ever get a signed copy of transcripts from BMU for FPGEE purpose? If this is
the problem of ECE, we better contact them and tell them the situation for the
benefit of future applic |

我给ECFMG寄去了中文成绩单和咱们出国时北医提供的翻译件。ECFMG说翻译件合格并给
北医寄去认证。我家里给北医交了钱并且北医也把信给寄回ECFMG了。可是我今天又受
到了ECFMG的信说又北医 FAILED TO RETURN A COPY OF HTE FINAL MEDICAL SCHOOL
TRANSCRIPT， 并且又给北医寄去了一封认证信。哪位同学最近成绩单认证成功过的给
介绍介绍经验，到底要让马宝华给ECFMG往回寄什么。中文成绩单？英文成绩单？中文

发帖数: 741 | 38 民以食为天，接下来自然就是所有北医人都津津乐道的跃进厅了。版上也有许多师兄师
姐回忆过了，而且还有插图（见胡大脸的帖子http://www.mitbbs.com/article_t/BMU/31115895.html），相当形象.仔细观察还有竖在门口的海报和卖水果的‘奸商夫妇’（有个兄弟某次被欺负了之后一怒之下给他们起的外号，后来一直延续了下来）。于是想我回忆中的跃进厅有什么不同，有没有续貂的必要。后来看到farmboy师兄的帖子里提到饭票和辣土豆，这些都是我上学的时候没有见过的，相信时缘和聚雅斋许多师兄师姐也没听说过，所以每个北医人心中应该都有一个独有的关于跃进厅的回忆，或与入学年份相关，或与饮食习惯相关。有精力的同学不妨考虑弄个跃进厅编年史之类的东西。。。扯远了。大家就姑且听我聊聊98-02年的跃进厅吧，如果能有共鸣，就最好不过了。
说起跃进厅，我先想到的是粘粘的门帘，粘粘的地板，好像永远没有人打扫一样。当广
播响起的时候，大约80%的北医人拿着各种饭盒开始向跃进厅聚集。沿途绕过买打卡磁
带，图书，水果的小贩，社团招新的摊位，登着电影海报和舞会通知的广告牌，在长长

1 非典情况是严峻的。我校本部尚无学生病例，只在医院实习的同学中发现3例。截止
19日我校直属的3所医院：北大，人民，三院共有患者132例，其中医护人员就有50多
例。马上这三所医院还将扩大接受非典病人的床位数目。但是三院不会有很大变动，
因为三院离学校太近。但是三院将主要针对附近的学生。
2 北方交大，中央财经大学和北京师范大学情况很严重，整班的感染，学生全部放假，
所以大家不要到那些学校去。
3 本校明天起要实行凭证件入校园的措施，希望同学们少出校门，不要邀请外人到本校
4 密切关心自己和周围人的健康，最好每天晚上自测体温
5 学校有24小时非典热线咨询，电话是 62092203
6 校内在三院实习，见习，进修的学生、医生明天全部搬到大公寓，学校将开通绿色通
道，使他们能从大公寓旁的门直接到三院而避免从校内走过 |

总的来说, 这两个专业有很大的区别, 但因为其中的某些方向有一定的overlap,
所以上面有人问起关于有机合成和药学哪个好找工作的问题.
其实化学是个涵盖很广的领域, 其中我还算熟悉的跟我们药学比较相近的领域有
分析化学和有机合成. 他们分别对应于药学领域的药分和药化. 我个人认为分析
要比合成好, 因为分析可以应用的范围很广, 以我们学校为例, 在今年这样差的
经济环境下, 我所认识的几个分析的中国人都找到了比较好的工作, 而且每个人
平均有两个OFFER. OFFER多了, 自然就可以跟公司的人bargain. 举个例证: 我
们系有个女生拿到AMGEN的OFFER, 化学的分析系有个男生也是这家公司的OFFER,
两人的PACKAGE一样, 都是年薪七万八, 但分析的那个男生就敢跟公司BARGAIN把
年薪多要了2500, 因此超过了八万, 因为他还有别的OFFER.
有机合成的就业范围也很广, 但如果想在pharmaceutical industry工作的话, 我
认为将来的前途很不明确. |

出来的时候遇到，他说让我晚上有时间到pku看他的帖子。他的事情我知道一
些，我们算的上是好朋友，声明一下我不是pku的，但是我在bmu上过学，应该和
你们算半个校友。他说可能以后要少灌水，说他心情不好，所以今天灌了很多水，
还说今天他表白了，刚才我看到了那个帖子。可是，可是我没想到的是同时也看
到了另一番场景，好像和阿药（你们是都这么叫他吧）说的很不同。
我真的不知道该说什么好，他真的是太傻了，太天真了！他居然认为他把你们
的心情也弄坏了，说不该让你们也跟着他伤感，说对不起你们，说上网灌水就
是为高兴的，不该让你们跟着他伤感。
这家伙真tmd够傻的，不过不奇怪，他还真的一直都是这样的人。受过多少次伤
害了就是不长记性。不过话说回来，我也真的服了你们啦！我也不是没上过mit,
虽然我基本没来过这个版，最近才用他给我的这个号过来，但是我也上mit好几
年了，还真没见过你们这样的人，哈哈，佩服佩服。会在别人伤心的时候玩的
这么开心，我不该多管闲事，这是你们的权力。但是难道你们就不能缓一缓再
