俩就是把表面功夫作足，把严重的问题遮掩起来
转速瞬间从2000到6000不正常，有可能是小问题（transmission fluid low滑档了）,
但是如果是小问题body shop早就搞好了
的，此顾客人在外州，车是这位顾客住在本地母亲的（母亲人住在本地），因为年纪大
了行动不便不能开车了就让他代卖。车出过一次事故，据他说是right rear quiarter
panel倒车时撞到另外一辆车，由body shop修好了（换了quarter panel和trunk），顾
客很满意，后来母亲生病之类的索性就让他代卖了。
加速的时候发动机转速表（RPM）上升得非常快，一下从2000到6000，松下油门指针又
迅速drop下来，请问这个是正常表现么？ |

随便找了家yelp上口碑不错的body shop, 最赚的就是这body shop了,
我这新车记录上有了事故, resale value不知道得亏多少, 一分钱也拿不到,
就是把车修得看起来和以前差不多, 实际都属于返修件了.
没想到的是, 原以为只是外壳, bumper什么的修修补补, 当时只拍了外面的照片,
没注意引擎盖里面.
今天打开引擎盖, 和以前见到的完全不一样. 应该是body shop把我的几个塑料的
engine cover什么的给卸了拿走了.
这马上都冬天了, 也不会怕散热什么的, body shop拿我engine cover干嘛呢?
我担心不会我新的engine给换了吧?这个有可能吗?
下午准备先去找body shop把engine cover要回来.
有人能帮分析下里面的门道吗? 只是修外面的bumper什么的, 为什么要动我引擎盖里面?
有没有可能动了引擎或有关的东西?

没有结构强度，第二极易翻车。很多人说跟其他车撞会沾便宜，其实不然，因为body
on frame车非常容易翻车，所以跟别的车撞，是让别的车吃亏，自己也沾不到便宜。类
似的视频，youtube上一搜一大把。
早年没有造unibody的工艺，所以所有的车都是body on frame。后来有厂家试着把卡车
的frame加个壳，变成SUV，结果大卖，带来大家纷纷效仿。但是归根结底，除了极少数
需要越野的人来说，SUV本质上是个乘客用车，unibody操纵性好，安全性好，不易翻，
多车事故对双方损害都小。现在还在做body on frame SUV的，除了真正有越野需求的
，就是实在没有能力和资金做unibody的。
当然，body on frame也有优势，主要是在工程和运输上。 |

来的，他也帮系里的junior faculty解决过two body；exit interview时还千叮咛万嘱
咐让把LD的CV发给他，还说这周给消息，本来三个candidate，我是第二个，我面试那
周第三也要面完，今天这周看来也过去了，啥消息没有啦，现在有点后悔，担心自己是
不是掉进了two body的坑，interview的时候是不是给了别人感觉非得解决two body不
可；当然也非常可能自己就不是top 1，two body就不是个事儿。 |

开车不小心，蹭到了水泥柱子上，碰了前面的bumper，左前面的fender也凹进去了，准
备用保险，是
geico的保险。保险公司给了个estimate，说bumper可以修好，不用换新的。因为可以
自己选body
shop，我不想用geico指定的。
今天去了两个body shop，都说bumper没法修，要换新的，他们会去和geico去交涉，我
只要把车给
他们就可以了。以前没有修过车，所以有点担心，如果用自己选的body shop的话，如
果geico坚持说
bumper可以修好,不想多付钱的话,怎么办? 到时候车也开始修了,也不能不修,岂不是要
我来付额外
的?
后来发现车轮外面的盖子也有scratch,body shop说他们会去和geico说,geico会不会赖
账?有没有

责，他们派人过来查看过，写了个估价单子2000多点，然后让我到body shop去修。请
问这样的情况到body shop去修大概要多少钱？一般怎么选择body shop? 谢谢。 |

早晨10：30出工（呵呵，没听adven和dingd的话，昨晚上研究manual看throttle body 的
拆卸过程，研究到2:30),断开电池，打开radiator drain
pipe放出了将近1gallon的coolant。拆掉那个大进气管，拔掉连在throttle body上的各
种电路接口（throttle motion sensor connector,
和一个我不知道的冬冬），拆掉throttle cable lever，松掉throttle cable bracket并
挪开它，一切都还顺利，然后拆掉throttle body mount的四个大螺钉，在1/2 break
bar的帮助下，轻松搞定。 这时问题来了，throttle
body上连着好几根管子，一根从engine（准确地说应该是cylinder head)伸出来，这根在
上面，很好拔，看里面的借口满是油污，好像是机油或是汽油从这里进来。麻烦的是下面
几根coolant管道，挤在一起，周围还有不少管子，我好不容易用强 |

打个比方说body work 一辆50000刀的新车，和一辆2000刀的破车没有差别
因为所需要花的labor基本上一样的，漆贵不了多少，所以新车好车就去做做,旧车破产就不必在乎什么body了
一般repair+ refinish 一个panel的body work cost 500-1000不等 |

当时下车，对方说没事。红灯停下来，很轻的撞了一下。我们车连scratch都没有，对
方车很小一个dent。对方一个人。当时说没事，就走了。没有留witness。也没警察，
因为太minor了。估价对方出来，200块钱修车。
这下该怎么办了？
对方美国人，这么这样。我们被其他车撞了2次，都没有claim过body injury。一次我
还怀孕. it cost over 9K to fix our car that time。。最近我们车也才被别人撞过，是不是也该claim body injury？当时还有2个
2岁多的宝宝在车上。我们车修了500多块，对方被total了。
怎么样算body injury claim？ 我太无语了。。 |

车身结实，抗扭强
结构简单，好修
拖东西能力强
缺点是车重，而且说安全测试结果普遍不如unibody好，但我觉得测试都是撞墙，这对
body-on-frame有点吃亏，如果是考虑实际中，是不是body-on-frame会更安全一些？
有点想买一个body-on-frame的车，除了皮卡，知道的就是4runner，还有哪些？道奇

body shop说先送过来，然后claim，让保险去body shop inspect。
我的情况是新车（刚买没多久，还没出warranty)，附近只有这一个certified 的body
shop。

本田黑们不断强调本田没有body on frame 的车，说什么body on frame 才是什么真四
驱等理论我却不以为然。
虽然body on frame的车型有以下优点
更容易设计，制造和修改。
撞了以后更容易维修。
能拖更重的东西。
但是比起unibody来讲，有以下不足
过重
差得多的torsional flexing(抗扭性）
差的操控性和抓地性
和远不如unibody安全的整体结构
众所周知，本田对安全性的追求是极高的，所以不会牺牲稳定性操控性更何况安全性来
换更简易的设计，更节约的成本和拖更重的东西的。 |

那么我的疑问就来了，既然2个大梁插到unibody的车里，那么是否unibody的整个车把
body on frame车型里面的人挤瘪呢？还是body on frame里面的人先下车再插入？

有兴趣的可以自行查碰撞成绩，也许有的不错也说不定，我还没时间查

有加强的车架意味着拖拽能力可以做的更高
同时因为车架强度高，可以做更大尺寸
目前unibody suv做到最大也就是GL的尺寸，但GL要坐7人仍没法保证舒适
但美式fullsize就可以，空间远大于GL
更何况body on frame的车未见得“非常容易翻车”
你有统计在车车相撞的事故中body on frame的翻车率么？要“非常容易”的话，
怎么得8成以上情况都翻车吧？ |

body on frame的车结实，耐用，不易形变，车重，蚝油。
十几年前的body on frame卡车和suv由于底盘高，没有电子稳定性保护，比较容易翻车
，缓冲也不太好，不太安全。
最近10年的full size （基本全是body on frame） SUV，已经全部改善，最新研究表
明（使用流行病的分析方法），分析几十万起近十年车祸，表明车祸出现后full size
SUV的死亡概率是最小的。
所以车盲你可以说lexus，toyota 不好，如果出来说body on frame SUV 就傻了。 |
