environmental
sciences一篇，cardiovascular biology (准确说是transcriptional regulation of
a
potassium channel in heart)一篇。现在postdoc conferences 2篇，一篇review in
preparation with boss, 一片original paper in preparation too。 postdoc 方向
是bone biology，准确说是osteoclast formation的机理。
现在在申请eb1b，除了给老板的journal review了6次，别人找他的杂志他forward给我
两次之
外，想再多一个或两个journal review。 律师说中国的杂志都可以。我不想麻烦老板
，虽然他人不
错，但是我想他一定不喜欢我这么做，因为我现在手上除了试验要做还有两篇文章要写
。但是身份的事
情自己不做不行，已经拖了很久。所以想请班上各位faculty大牛们帮帮 |

他90篇journal paper，1120个citation，也是很好的成绩
之后拿了973首席科学家也证明复旦没选错人，一个学校能拿973首席科学家的有几个人？

offer，两校综合排名查不多，房价也差不多，请大家指点一下，家里有两个小娃 （1
岁和6岁），有点纠结：
A校 在Pittsburgh
优点：
1. 专业排名高，系里研究强，30+faculty, 有很多potential senior mentor
2. 做医学相关的附近有UPMC是个很好的平台, 合作机会多
3. 院里有internal K award
4. 教课 1 + 2
5. 城市大一点，小孩有地方玩
6. 小孩教育比B校所在城市好
缺点
1. 压力大，院里规定tenure要两个R01
2. Start-up 比 B校少了一半
3. 大城市，交通非常差
4. 工资比B校少 1w
B校 在Florida
优点
1. 压力小，Tenure只要两个R21级别，一个R01+一个R21可以early tenure
2. Start-up 比 B校多了一倍
3. 位置好，离Disney，Universal Studios很近
4. 教课 1 + 2

离escrow close还有一周，无意中在网上查了下已过世屋主的名字，在召集亲友出席屋
主悼念会的主页上发现其事实上是在今年1月的时候家里过世的。
为了确认疑惑，自己又去了county public health查了原屋主的death certificate，
确实是在家中过世，死因是ARTERIOSCLEROTIC(动脉硬化) CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE(心
血管疾病), Manner of death 属于NATURAL，是一位73岁的独居老妇人。
房子是20年代建的，确实是喜欢的，但是很郁闷，对AGENT比较无语，不是有3年内要
disclosure一说的吗。
告吧？精力上是否承受得起？不告退出，是否有赔偿，还是连deposit也没有了？要么
住进去，养条狗，请个风水先生看看，时间久了是否就好了？

it's a mild CNS stimulant. increase alertness, decrease fatigue, etc.
relatively minor if not use for long term. don't use if you have
cardiovascular disease. cannot take with anticoagulants: heperin, warfrin (?).
for use in old people, should be very careful. don't ship a lot to your
parents/grandparents. |
