早晨醒来就开始哭,怎么哄也不行,一直哭。问他为什么哭,也不说。吃饭哭。玩得好
好的,也会突然哭。跟他说一句话,比如“XX,肉肉吃不吃?”他也会哭。晚上准备睡
觉,也会突然躺地上翻滚大哭。他要抓弟弟的脸,大人不让,又是哭。每天断断续续哭
几十回,加起来能有三四个钟头。大人们这脑袋里全是他的哭声在回荡。这种状况已经
持续个把月了。几个月前刚勉强训好知道上厕所,现在一哭就肆无忌惮的尿裤子上。
他以前就爱哭。现在是变本加厉了。以前还玩一玩,也跟人说说话的。现在也不怎么玩
了,就躺缩在地上,不怎么主动说话,也不回答大人的问话。做父母的都被他弄疯了。

也不一定,爷爷奶奶不是 professional caregiver,不一定能处理 switch caregiver
的事。
老实说,switch caregiver 我也不会。因为娃出生就跟父母有 bond,我也从不 child
care 其他人的娃。但 daycare 都是一级一级升上去换老师的,她们就能干这个,当
然也遇到偶尔有个别老师办这事不行的情况。
话说回来,人类婴儿虽然没有 primary caregiver 的概念,但是跟不同的 caregiver
的 bond 是有差别的,会有 preference 很自然。。。其实 daycare 娃跟不同的其它
娃的 bond (friend) 也是有差别的。。。

理论是说这么大的孩子,会attached to 他的Primary caregiver,这个时期最好不要频
繁更换Primary caregiver,如果你是他的primary caregiver,突然把他从你身边带走
,对他绝对有心理上的打击,等过几个月他适应了新的primary caregiver,比如他奶
奶,你再把他从奶奶身边带走,又是一重打击。这种打击,从长远看,是会对大脑发育
和情感有影响的。

继christmas在ER待了一天之后,娃又住了三天院,吊水的过程惨不忍睹。
换了两茬人,千辛万苦在ER埋好了iv,当时我就觉得埋得太浅,但是那护士说没关系的
。果然,前天晚上准备再上抗生素的时候,发现iv掉出来了,肿了好大一个包,不知道
什么时候掉出来的,外面纱布包得很牢。
然后重新再上iv,住院部能上的护士全上了,最后连nicu的护士都叫来了,小手小脚所
有的血管都试了,插进去,在里面搅一阵,偶尔摸到血管,然后又滑掉了。就没一个成
功的。我实在忍不住,去跟医生说,能不能不吊了。
娃实在太太太可怜了,现在不光她有心理阴影,我也有了。

人的羞耻感是哪里来的,和道德的建立有一定关系,
人已经有几千年的进化历史,有些东西镶嵌在基因里了。
我没有说追求完美是好的品质,我只说,可能是先天
带来的品质,先天带来的东西包括脾气,禀性,特性,
后来的CAREGIVER都很难处理。
CAREGIVER只能在某种程度上和小孩磨合,CAREGIVER
不能从新塑造小孩,CAREGIVER只能告诉小孩正确和错误
的区别,大是大非是什么,而不能轻易改变天性。
既然有天性这个名词,不能把什么都算在教育者头上。
天赋有区别,天性也有区别,都值得尊重。

,也不知道如何愛別人,雖然你有主觀的愛的願望。
你反覆把你女兒和你姐姐做比較,其實有一個很大的可能是你小時候的家庭環境很冷酷
,於是你為了適應環境就成長為一個冷漠(lack of compassion)的人,而你姐姐的方式
則是極端的情緒發泄。那麼現在你大女兒和你的關係就是你原生家庭的輪迴。

找个social service的地方就可以问明白了
licensed social worker应该可以知道如何帮助这种老人
以前在LA的时候,医院经常有一些老人是享受州政府提供的一项服务,具体是什么项目
我不记得名字了,就是这些老人可以申请政府派一个caregiver去家里帮老人做些事情
,比如去看医生,grocery shopping等等老人已经不能自己做的事情,多数情况是每周
20个小时的样子。我记得当时我们的一些病人出院都是caregiver来接的,还有些
caregiver会到医院探望老人,有时候我们的病人连自己的病史都搞不清楚的,很多的
时候caregiver都是老人的emergency
contact person。

这个,我知道。 但商榷一下: 我觉得你理解反了 - 就是人们常说的那种情况:
From the same evidence, we drew opposite conclusions :-)
我理解的“正统”理论是, Primary caregiver 和 the young 的psychological 关
系, blah blah blah 理论已经建立,甚至延伸到动物。
然后,人类比动物更advanced的地方: social aspect 更丰富,primary caregiver
更容易/可能不是biological的关系,更flexible - 可以是多人,甚至可更换,所
以对族群的集体survival更有优势。 动物很难做到。
你用这个evidence来说,看,既然可以有多个,可以更换,所以都没有primary
caregiver的说法了。。。。满独特的思路。

宝宝没了确实很值得同情,而且宝宝一直哭不去管,这个caregiver也有很大部分责任
,但我还是认为,哭是哭不死了,肯定是当时还有别的情况,或者说,如果确实是哭没
的,那宝宝估计本身有别的隐性的问题没有发现,即使caregiver当时管了也有可能无
济于事的。这样想不知道妈妈会不会好受些。
不过这个case后来怎么结尾的?caregiver承担责任吗?

最后不了了之,因为是亲戚。过度哭泣会引发其他的呼吸系统的问题,比如呼吸衰竭,
哭是哭不死,但是引发的其他症状有可能,大家都见过小宝宝特别upset的时候一声哭
半天听不到声音,就那张着嘴半天倒不过一口气来,而且哭有可能是有原因的,哭只是
一个症状而已,哭的原因很难讲不致命,尤其宝宝小,不舒服,只能用哭表达,如果忽
视宝宝这唯一的沟通方式不找到哭的原因,那只能听天由命了!出了事,反而会有人说
宝宝本身有问题,宝宝命中注定,这是最令人接受不了的!如果当时看了,也许可以避
免!
做了妈妈的都知道,宝宝小的时候跟前一会都不能离人!如果caregiver忽视宝宝,出
了事情是很难证明的!所有的有关SIDS (Sudden infant death)的措辞都是很小心的
,都在讲如何reduce the risk, 对于出事的情况是what did you increased the
risk of SIDS. 所以如果caregiver没有采取措施而increase risk导致SIDS发生,

这不是在另外一个daycare发生的,在哪里不重要,究竟caregiver是谁也不重要,重要
的任何一个caregiver本身是不是reliable,responsive很重要,如果对caregiver不放
心要尽早打算!抬杠没必要!
