吃:
Montana地广人稀.来之前还专门在网上看了看推荐的饭馆.来了才发现其实大家提起的
饭馆基本上就是周围唯一的选择,想找不到都难.不过试过的感觉都还不错.一个原因是
这里民风淳朴,还是在印第安保留区里,感觉不太像过度开发的旅游区.另一个原因是我
和LD都是牛排fan,Montana有广大的牧场,基本所有的饭馆里都供应本地吃草长大的新鲜
牛肉,吃的我们不亦乐乎,呵呵.随便说几个我们去过的,都是想找不到都难的:
Whistle stop(East Glacier Park): 吃早餐的地方,只有几种omelet几种French toast
可以选择.他们的French toast和其他地方不同,是裹糊油炸的,不过没有想象的油,还挺
好吃.

晚上camping的话还是挺冷的，想camping的注意保暖
想hiking的，一定要走一条能上到某个pass的看大全景，很壮观
我们走的Two Medicine 的 dawson pass，震撼极了。山顶极冷，风大的都站不住人，
很酷
Grinell Glacier很经典的trail，也值得推荐
想看动物的去many glacier和logan pass
我们在Many看到两家熊，有一家就在一群hiker旁边山上几十米处
Lake McDonald水那个蓝啊，美的冒泡
going-to-the-sun road也绝对称得上全美最美的一条路
再推荐吃的地方，就是公园东变得Babb，叫cattle's baron（大概吧），
烤的野牛肉棒极了，不可错过，问当地人就知道了
还推荐一家价廉物美的hostel,在east glacier park,叫brownie's
一个床位12，还可以有包间，公共浴室和厨房，管理的很不错，就是可惜不在公园里
还有冰川的游客人都非常和气，玩得很愉快

发帖数: 44 | 27 上周从长草很久的冰川黄石回来，报告一下行程和心得。
7/11 飞Helena，拿了hertz的车便出发Glacier。我们订的车没有给upgrade到subura的
legacy，窃喜。从Helena到Glacier East Entrance差不多3个多小时。我们走的是287
，大部分都是单车道不过车也不多，除了从East Glacier到park的路上。如果遇到前面
有乌龟开车，就慢慢跟屁股吧。
下午在St.Mary湖坐坐船，我们没有reserve就开到rising sun买的票。做完已经快7点
半了，就开到Babb住motel（好像只有一家店）。极力推荐镇上的cattle baron。fresh
baked bread, potato and salad。看似简单的菜，做的很好吃。价格也公道。我们吃
完出来快10点，天还没全黑！
7/12 因为grinnell trail还有雪就选的iceburg走。我们是跟ranger早上八点半出发的
，她一路走一路讲，还时不时休息，所以不觉的累，而且一路风光无限野花相伴。到
iceberg lake已经快一点了。和别人聊天时被他们描绘的pta |

东部一直在串联亲友。从芝加哥南下，去了hot spring NP, Arkansas。在Buckstaff大
澡堂泡澡，20几块钱/人，大约1个多小时，分几步，小费随意。一点也不fancy，但是
是一种体验。fancy的也有，贵呗。他家3点或3点半停止入场！注意！facial要加钱，
但你自己可以带面膜进去diy。
到德州上了10号路，才算真正上了southern route。德州卡车速度跟轿车一样快，很讨
厌。
San Antonio随便停停，吃牛排，river walk上的texas land and cattle牛排馆两个人
40多。其他的都没太大意思（没看夜景）。
进入新墨。先去calsbad cavern NP。因为没有时间自己hike，坐电梯直达big room，
在里面走上一圈大约一个多小时。洞内恒温13度，避暑好地方啊，要穿长裤夹克。
出了公园开285转82去white sands NM。82穿过Lincoln national forest，很美。想不
到新墨还有加拿大一般的针叶林，一出山，却又成了荒漠。这段路虽然美却比 |

我一般吃个Saltgrass这种档次的就很知足了，味道也不错，连锁店，个人觉得比land
and cattle
好。德州的牛排和bbq就好像广州的虾饺和炒牛河一样。。到处都是，大概也很难说哪
家最好。
如果是乡下来得还可以吃中国城的中餐，或者吃seafood buffet。但是慎重考虑小肥羊
