这是TM很短命的一款产品，销量一直很差，上市不到一年，去年底，索性被TM从传统经
销渠道召回。所以，现在基本只有网店有卖。只要比比看TM 的580XD直到R7， burner
， tour burner都出来了，还在店里卖得很欢，就知道这款CGB MAX的不招待见程度了。
我在pro shop试打过，倒是感觉不出来有什么不好。 |

buy is still expensive.
i just bought Ping 3 woods, was 219, now trade in value is only around 90.
i was hoping to trade my PING for Taylormade CGB, but Taylormade CGB is 299
now.
And wedges i am interested are still around 130. darn
with the economy is heading south, not sure, if i should buy now or wait a
bit longer.
I really like the new Taylormade CGB 3 Woods, not big fan of its driver
version though. |

发帖数: 517 | 3 I happened to try 7 irons of ap2 and cgb in the hitting bay at a local golf
store yesterday. The ap2 had R-flex steel shaft and cgb came with stiff
graphite. The average good shots gave me about 10+ more yards from the cgb
iron.
I tested x forge and s59 before, s59 is more difficult. |

1. Taylormade CGB with REAX 55 gram graphite in stiff flex
2. Titleist AP2 with Rifle Flighted 5.0 (probably 110 gram)
The CGB 8i is about 1/4" longer than AP2. To my surprise, the AP2 was 2 mph
faster than CGB in average (10+ hits).
I have been told the lighter shaft gives me more speed. Is that really true?

SALES直催我买, 他推荐STIFF，虽然我自己感觉更喜欢R
COBRA L5V 还没买, 又有一个TATORMADE R7 LIMITED

2. It is - If Everything Else (grip/clubhead) kept the the same, switching to lighter shaft will generate more clubhead speed.
I don't have a number to back it up, but to me the cavity-style r7 CGB Max irons have significantly larger clubhead, which translates to heavier, when comparing to muscleback-style AP2.
So the total weight of CGB might not be any lighter (if not heavier) than AP2.

but i learned some lesson on buying 3wood.
I have good feeling with Ping hybrid, and then i decide to buy Ping 3wood,
turn out, it doesnt fit well with me at all.
I checked Taylor made CGB driver and 3wood, dont like its driver at all, but
have good feeling on it 3wood.
Can anyone else comment on the swing difference makes the different
selection on fairway woods and driver?
now my driver, fairway woods, hybrid are all from different manufactures.

i didnt want to be feel as i was whining. did not put the story here.
I ordered a used taylormade cgb faiway 3woods from them, (weeks before the
taylormade 67% off deal, which i regret most :) )
after the club arrived, i took out of box, swung once, only ONCE, the club
shaft is broken.
I call their customer support. their attitude and service is very bad.
basically they said it is not their fault, and asked me ship the club to
them, and they will send to taylormade, if taylor |

是worKAbility 我这样的 average Joe 要的是forgiveness。如果楼主想换杆的话，试
试从forgiveness比较比较。比如说试试俺现在用的FTIQ. Taylormade 网站上有一个详
细的比较。可以去看看。我的fav R7 CGB Max 3wood 就是maximum forgiveness. 估计
因为这所以才打的好一点 |

few rounds I played with him, every time there are some quality shots from
it. 2-on on par 5, hit green on tricky windy 200+ par 3, green in regulation
on ultra long par 4, you just name it and most of time close to the hole. (makable putt for pros)
And it made me dump my old trusty V steel 3 wood and bought same model as
his instead.

probably need to figure out if you would like an i-wood or a hybrid iron. I
know Adams A2 OS or A3 OS ( i-wood) and TaylorMade r7 CGB Max (hybrid iron)

Somehow, I did feel the AP2 was lighter when I hit with the clubs.

It is an old model from Taylormade.
so even i recommend it, you would not get it right now. Mine was Taylormade
CGB R7
But in general, I have seen others' comments. recommend for Titleist 910 or
913 fairway woods, and TaylorMade RBZ woods. |
