书能否被录用现在应该还不知道）. 请问大家一般怎么处理这种邀请。好像是为Wiley
出版社写的书，不知道档次如何，要没有必要花时间写这个BOOK CHAPTER？因为现在是
第一学期，教学比较忙，事情也比较多。
另外，想知道，如果同意写BOOK CHAPTER的话，如果我将来自己想把自己以前的工作再
单独出版一本书或者再用这个BOOK CHAPTER的内容发表点什么，会不会就有什么版权纠
纷，或者像写PAPER一样，变成一稿多投了？
实在对出BOOK CHAPTER这类事情没有什么经验，请各位指教，多谢了！ |

file,
say book.tex. here chapter#.tex is the file name for that chapter. now you
can run latex/pdflatex on book.tex (not chapter#.tex) to get this chapter

先声明一下,不是show off. 我家孩子,下个月4岁,图书馆借的level 2 or 3的新书,拿
过来就可以自己读.给她试chapter book,磕磕碰碰也能读下来.里头很多不认识的单词,
会自己按照phornics来试图发音.不一定准,但很接近.会写不少单词.有时还自己用英文
编故事,到电脑上用word敲出来.
中文也不错.曾经有段时间教她认中文字,记忆力超好,没多久就可以自己读中文的课文.
已经半年没教中文了,拿过中文书来还能读下来(中文学校的教材).

比如说论文最后的Notations and abbreviations，于是使用了chapter*
\chapters*{Notations and abbreviations}
这一张的页眉应该也是Notations and abbreviations。
但是我发现用了chapter* 之后
结果文件中本章显示的都是前一章的页眉。
似乎LATEX不把chapter* 做为一般的章节来对待
我尝试在这章中使用了fancyhead的指令来强制设定这一章的页眉。但是如果这样的
，那么后续的章节又全都显示成这章的名字。
请大虾指教 |

可是没有想到，他们现在居然要收费，而且是600欧元。靠，我又不缺文章，干嘛花钱

projection after Chapter 11. Many companies in order to allow creditors to
permit re-organization rather than liquidation, provided unrealistic
financial forecast assumption for the future in order to service the
creditor's debt obligation after chapter 11. Those companies then become
more likely to get chapter 11 again. But if the slate is wiped clean, then
there is nothing wrong to work at such company. |

究有关，所以主要是我写。我在精华区没找到关于book chapter相关的内容。所以现在
有两个疑惑：
1。这个book chapter对绿卡EB1申请有帮助吗？
2。以后别人cite这本书是不是也算我的citation? 我看这种专业性的书citation好像
都不是很高的样子。

book chapter是RSC出版的一本书里面一章。
现在个人感觉book chapter和review paper，可以增强authorship和citation数量，但
是由于二者性质都是讲述行业的基础性知识或者最新的进展，所以就创新这个层面来说
没有多少原创性，没办法像research paper或者专利那样说I am the first scientist
to discover xxx. 而且二者被他文引用，一般也是在intro里面当做背景来被引用的。
那么问题来了，对于像review paper和book chapter这种综述性的出版物，做材料的时
候怎么处理呢，是不是一般只能claim authorship和负责给整个case涨citation数量的
作用了？怎么claim contribution呢？有没有什么技巧之类的。先谢谢了 |

然后打印了该书在出版社上的网页，一些统计信息，
table of contents, 编辑的个人主页。
book chapter 的话，有编辑推荐信或CV当然更好，但我偷懒了。
不过一般找的话估计人家也都乐意，
毕竟你贡献了一个 chapter，可能已经有了 connection。
在编辑的信里可以谈谈别的 chapter 有哪些大牛，呵呵。
review paper 如果你能找到当初收你 paper 的那个 editor 的话，
要封推荐信应该是没问题的，在上面可以把那些话都写上。
这些都算 independent reference。 |
