今天带着孩子出门买东西，他不愿下车，我想估计我也就进去一刻钟，而且天气不热不
冷，所以就给他（5岁）一个酸奶，自己下去买东西了。哪知结帐队伍很长，半个小时
才出来。一个中年美国妇女守在我车后说她报警了。警察来了，要了我的证件，告诉我
：这是against law的，让我先回家，检察官会charge我，还有保护小孩的机构的人会
来我家。
现在怎么办？？？
检察官的起诉是criminal case吗？ 会导致criminal history 并吊销绿卡吗？ 怎么做
能把损失降到最低？

第一，没娃的或者一个娃的呢？
第二，就算是两娃标配，按照我给的例子，你至少损失29000的deduction。州税房产税
更多的话损失的更多。就算补回12800，还是差16000的deduction。我之前算过了，如
果你2016年 taxable incom 在8万到15万之间，deduction的损失超过13000就是纯亏的
。所以在这个例子里，张三要损失3000*最高税率，按照25%算就是多交 750。如果张三
的州税房产税每多1000，他就再多交 250 联邦税。
举个例子，张三夫妻有两个娃，房贷40万，利率3.6%，房产税每年8千，州税1万。
按照16年的税法，你有如下 deduction （假设你们没有 hit AMT）：
贷款利息 14000 + 州税 10000 + 房产税 8000 + exemption 16200 + child care
5000 = 53000
按照新提出的税法，你或者选择标准抵税 24000 或者 itemized: 贷款利息 14000 +

在你的例子中，你只看到taxable income 多了$29000,但你没注意到税率的降低, 其实
五分钟就能算出在新法下你要交多少税了，为什么不好好算算呢？我们家taxable
income 多了两万，但算上child tax credit要少缴税。 我一开始忘记$5000FSA 可能
没了，就算这样税应该还是会少些，自己算吧 |
