1. 信多的文件夹分成多个文件夹。
2. 不用的email就在gmail里面备份。在gmail里面archive不需要的email，并且加上
label，这些label选择不下载到IMAP，这样就不会显示在thunderbird里面。偶尔需要
这些email，就到gmail里面去找。
3. 勾选自动compress email。这个不知道有什么效果。之前也在自动compress，只是
有的时候compress的时候，thunderbird就freeze，反而更慢了。

btw, jar can be compressed or uncompressed, compressed format is just zip,
(some software might create weird zip), you can associate .jar with winzip,
or rename the file to .zip. |

now my code need to be genetic enough that it can handle all
these different compressions, based on the DLL user puts in the command line.
the similar compression APIs may have different number/order of arguments
for different DLLs.

Depends on what kind of digital format you are talking.
D1 and D5 are not compressed.
For consumer format such as miniDV. It is compressed. However,you
can output through firewire(IEEE1394) card. It is usually better than
output through analog video+audio port and redigitize them through your
computer's capture card.
miniDV NTSC is 4:1:1,miniDV PAL is 4:2:0. So it is easy to calculate
whether it is compressed or not.

Compressing sensing,我可以断言Tao不是获得credit最大的.
西班牙数学会是Candes作的报告.论文集前面贴的就有.你说Tao独占,
这是错的.
信号处理有个杂志有年什么奖,也是Candes和他老板一人一篇总结文章.
相比较而言,Tao在compressed sensing的讲座并不多.曝光度相对而言很低.
在你说的这些例子中，1和3属于人的manners，这方面Tao的确无可挑剔，可以说IQ高EQ
更高。
2的polymath project和4的compressive sensing，都是一群人共同参与并作出贡献的
，Tao都是involved。但是你发现没有，Tao获得的credit是最大的，对于外行而言，甚
至是独占的。例如polymath解决的DHJ问题，参与的人有几十个，但大家最后只记得这
是Tao的polymath，最多再知道个Gowers。

UW 52 online cases : 基础。最好复习早起找高手一起过一遍，尽快摸熟软件，进入
状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

crack，running compression可以看是不是valve的问题。一般来将除非crack了，不需
要换head，99 camery是non-interference设计，就算timing belt断了也打不到valve。
一般的dry（wet） compression test是针对piston ring磨损的诊断
说实话换个二手引擎比较现实，人工600-800，这样保险一些，顺便问一下是v6还是i4

给香港和中国的电邮信箱。去年的测试运用Feed Over e-mail科技 （ＦＯＥ），绕过

都是编的。
结果八马亮出自传出版的一个fine print，说书里人物可能是composite figure，八马

想强行拐到别的lane时，撞上那种竖起来的塑料栏杆。在车头打了凹痕。
当时这个后悔，想着avis得charge我天价维修费。车头的铁盖得$700.
赶紧在google/youtube看看别人的经验，有人用热胀冷缩的原理修复，有人用pop-a-
dent工具。
花了$25块美金，在autozone买了pop-a-dent kit，还有compressed air.理想是
compressed air可以热胀冷缩。但是对我的车好像没用。
pop-a-dent kits 简单，就是很耗时间。还好有人帮我弄，花了整整一个上午，还有半
个下午，终于把凹痕磨平一点点。不仔细看，就看不出，希望在还车的时候能混过去。
挑了太阳下了山的时候去还车。顺利通过，avis没发现凹痕。 |
